, the title is slightly misleading as its very unlikely to work out as 23p/month. To get the 40£ voucher, one is probably tied in for seven months, so the effective price is 1.19£/month.
    Pualle's avatar
    Slightly, yes.

But it is 23p/month and then £6.99 for 1 or 2 months. If you've not got your voucher by then, then you've likely paid £6.99 for 8 months anyway.

In the T&C toy can't cancel before 180 days or you lose your voucher. So you're cancelling on day 180 or 181 to be safe probably not knowing if you have a voucher or not. Also in the T&C it says you should receive your voucher by day 210, so realistically, you should be able to cancel and migrate on the 7th month.

So you may or may not end up with a voucher for outlets that you rarely or never use. I think most people would prefer a solid deal without having to jump through hoops, eg the recent 1p deals from Lyca, Lebara and Talk Home.

Since when does anyone “rarely or never use” Amazon You still living in 2005

Great overall price even if it has to be 7 months but sceptical about receiving the gift card!
    mutley1's avatar
yes, i wonder how reliable these gift card promises are.

I'm with lebara it's fine just keep switching between them an Lyca mobile every 6.months
    ubi_comp's avatar
I switched to Lebara last week and with the recent cyberattack on Lyca, my incoming calls are still going to Lyca voicemail. Outgoings are fine. Extreme frustration! . Don’t think Lyca or Lebara can do anything to fix this. Any thoughts about moving to some third network, will it solve or complicate the issue? thanks

Just paid £7.95 for 30gb per month and £40 gift card from talkmobile 💪
    mdk's avatar
I see the deal on Talkmobile but not with the gift card, do you have a link?
  6. noseley's avatar
thanks, ordered. wonder when the giftcard will come upto 180 days is a long time.
    vassy4u's avatar
There is no way to track this. After 6 months they can refuse the gift card too saying your purchase didn't track or u used ad blocker etc

    Got my £40 today wohoo!
    Resonate's avatar
Was it just an email that arrived? What date did you activate the sim?

Is this for new customers only?

Abit off topic.. I’m trying to move away from Lyca to Lebara and want to move my number across.. my rolling contact with Lyca ran out.. is there a way to get the PAC number ? I tried calling during the week.. no one picks up.. emailed aswel..
    KodaBear's avatar
Text PAC to 65075 From the SIM that has the number you want to keep.

If you are trying to leave Lyca right now though, your text may go unanswered. They are still recovering from the huge cyberattack and the last time I checked, they had still disabled the ability to port numbers in or out as part of the security measures.

I'm currently at lebara how can I opt this option?
    KodaBear's avatar
Sign in to your Lebara account before coming back to HUKD and clicking "Get Deal" and it will let you buy another one of these on your same account.

You will need a new SIM Card to be sent to you. And if you want to keep your number, you will have to port your number out to another network and back again.

There is no easier way. These deals aren't designed for existing customers.

Is Lebara the one with poor cust service.
I recall from previous discussions that either Lebara or Lyca is poor CS and the other generally well regarded
    ubi_comp's avatar
Lebara CS is much better than Lyca’s

Why does 2nd picture show £50 on offer but offer is only £40? Very confused?
    bozo007's avatar
    It is £40
  14. ck12111's avatar
If Lebara got eSIM they'd be onto a real winner...
  15. tcf's avatar
    Got mine this morning, too.

Be on the lookout for an email from no-reply@giftcloud.com
  16. Optimus2050's avatar
Bit confused the pics show money saving expert but the link is giftcloud… do we have the right deal here?
    bozo007's avatar
It is a MSE offer that goes via Giftcloud.
  17. imAldric's avatar
Does the plan start from when the sim is activated?
    AstalaVista's avatar
The plan starts the SIM is first put into the phone.
  18. scottydogg81's avatar
Would this go in an ee phone?
    Neil49's avatar
Lebara use the Vodafone network. If your phone is locked to EE then you would have to get it unlocked to get this to work.
  19. xant14's avatar
how is it 23p per month?
    dhr's avatar
Assuming you hold sim plan for 6 months

    £6.90 x 6 = £41.40
    - £40 gift card = £1.40
    £1.40 / 6 months = £0.23

This arrived in my email this morning....

At first I thought this was a scam because I get a lot of them sort of spam emails then I remembered lebara promised a £40 voucher for signing up - which I of course did.

Going by some of the comments on this deal. I had no expectations of ever receiving the voucher so Im pleasantly surprised that its come through.

    Happy days!

My sign up date was 12/8/23 (edited)
