Does anyone know how you can switch to this if you are already with Lebara?
    H_M01's avatar
You may go via the link below.

    mobile.lebara.com/gb/…ive
3 months reduced price is not available to existing customers.

You just need switch off auto renew on your existing plan, then select plan from above link and then check out by applying to existing sim.

Just switched to this deal from Three because of their awful signal, but for some reason Lebara seems even worse for me for signal, which is strange since a lot of people seem to recommend it.
    RidgeRacer's avatar
People's recommendations based on signal strength/quality are largely irrelevant, as signal you get varies hugely depending on where you are. Unless the people recommending a network based on signal are living, working and travelling exactly where you do, your experiences are going to be different. Even different devices can have different signal in the same location.

I am currently on a 30 day special offer deal with Lebara - swapped back to them about a month ago now. My son is with Plusnet but they have emailed me to say that they will be ending their 30 day SIM plans soon - I pay the bill for his plan as he is only 16.

Is it possible for me to start up another 30 day special offer deal with Lebara (not the 15GB one though) for my son, seeing that it will be a new number - or, because I am the bill payer (for my Lebara SIM as well), would they pick that up - same address and 2 SIMs going out of the same bank account (mine) and say that another deal is for a new customer only?
    edde's avatar
You don't need to do that.

I had an existing account with Lebara for 1 SIM. I logged in to my Lebara account first, then went to Topchashback logged in and followed the Uswitch link, selected the 15gb deal and when it went to the Lebara site it was still logged in on my account

I made the purchase on my existing account with my existing payment details and it went through and linked to the same account.

I did this twice with the same account and once for a different account, and Topcashback tracked all 3. (edited)

There's also a deal on Uswitch for 21GB for £7.95 a month. Used this whilst travelling in Europe over Summer. Excellent value and meant I didn't have to use the rubbish wifi.

Thank you. I’m currently on 12GB and it’s not enough. I’m paying around that already so will switch to that. It’s a pain having to port out of Lebara to another network and back in tho

Excellent network. I moved from Vodafone last week.
    hax3's avatar
Lebara is a Vodafone MVNO, so I hope you didn't see any change in signal....

So u need to login to your Topcashback account
    Search Uswitch mobile
    Click get cashback
That will open Uswitch, then find this Lebara deal and make purchase.
That way u will get cashback tracked

Just to make people aware, make sure you use the SIM in the UK before you go abroad, otherwise they won't let you activate it whilst on holiday.
  9. Arstar's avatar
Wish they would offer a lower data deal for say £2 or £3 a month (normal price). Seems the cheapest they do is £5 for 5GB non-promotion price.
    kooks65's avatar
I hardly use any data as I work from home and use the wifi instead, this is what I've found for now moneysavingexpert.com/che…ly/

Thanks. Nice deal for the tourists visiting UK.
    Jon_Red's avatar
Ikr good for tourists but I can’t keep bringing myself to port out and port in, they’ve reduced the 6 months to 3 months because of this and it’s really had an effect on me and I’ve only done it twice.
  13. chris.tait's avatar
I’m going to Spain for 5 days in October, my current provider charges for roaming and I’m unsure on the hotel wifi position.
Could I just get this for one month for £2.78 and in effect have 15GB of data for those 5 days and cancel when I return and go back to my existing SIM? Not fussed about moving over.
    ChipilaBG's avatar
Yes, you can do that. Exactly what I do on every holiday abroad. Enjoy your holiday. 🤙
  14. bobby-gg's avatar
Wish they'd bring back the 6 month deals on these 10/12/15gb deals, my current 3 month deal ends next month
    Jon_Red's avatar
Very smart move of them, next thing they’ll scrap the 3 month completely and just have a few quid entry price. And finally they’ll stop allowing porting. ☹️
  15. Pigsy.'s avatar
Dire network, no data, customer service is non-existant, even the ceo team replied 5-7 working days later... Dropped calls, no incoming calls, and all this in a Vodafone stronghold area...

Not doubting your experience but this is the first for Lebara.
Normally Lycamobile deal gets this type of comments.

Even after 3 months, £6.95 is pretty cheap
  17. IW74's avatar
    Good deal!
I’ve just taken out the 12GB for £6.90 a month with £40 gift card after 6 months. Impressed with everything so far - SIM card arrived within 36 hours of ordering, and number ported exactly when I requested.
With 30 day contract and no roaming charges I think Lebara take some beating for value at the moment.
    trimjon's avatar
Where's the £40 voucher available from?
  18. claire7519's avatar
Can use data abroad too without extra charges, I’ve moved from the bigger networks to this, cheaper and better (edited)
    ChipilaBG's avatar
    Yes, you can.
  19. wh1zzard's avatar
This is a very good deal though there have been better ones from Lebara in the past.
Maybe one day we’ll see the big providers start competing on price again, including free international roaming and stop offering a plethora of incredibly superflous benefits.
    Optimus2050's avatar
Not enough competition yet, EE have cut back on lot of their freebies and reduced Apple Music to 6 months from unlimited on its plan (edited)
  20. kooks65's avatar
Who is best to use for porting your number to another provider and then back into Lebara, I had terrible trouble with Asda last time?
    KodaBear's avatar
I Personally always tell people to take a cheap affiliate SIM for less than £1 from Lyca. Never had porting issues with them for myself nor family. And their SIM Cards have an allowance of mins/texts/data meaning you can still stay connected with people using your own phone number for the couple of days that your number is on their network for - Unlike Asda who you would have to buy a top up for.
  21. morcef's avatar
Oh god, Vodafone are ripping me off for the same
    ChipilaBG's avatar
    Like all main providers

If your number is currently with Lebara you would need to port out and back again.

Does anyone have a way to sign up for these deals at full price as an existing customer please? (ie without ordering a new SIM)

The old link where you could change doesn't work anymore. Thanks.

Where is the link for Top cashback?
    sajidtg's avatar

    U don't need Topcashback link
U need to sign in to your Topcashback so it track and u get cashback
  30. darren_hooker's avatar
When do you get the cashback and when can you cancel? Is it 30 days contract free? Tia
  31. Proveright's avatar
Thanks OP. Remember to auto renew each Month other wise you lose the deal. Likewise turn off auto renew before the price increase jumps up. Lebara piggy backs off of Vodafone. Vodafone and Lebara network have been down in Norwich area since Wednesday. (edited)

How much of the 15GB can be used for roaming?

Travelled a lot in Europe recently and got a message from Lebara saying, you are using more data outside UK and they going to charge a lot.

Poor network in many parts in Cotswold.
    lucyscollins's avatar
I noticed that in their T&Cs
  34. AngryCoffeeTable's avatar
Dang. I jumped on the previous deal with the 12GB data and £40 amazon voucher for the same £6.95 but im wondering if i got cheated in the long run 3GB more data is a lot!

Ive been with the network for two days now. I dare say that it has been actually performing better than 3 although I've only been using it rather lightly to browse a few pages and messaging on whatsapp (mainly messaging on whatsapp). My 30day rolling contract with 3 had unlimited data but having 12GB is giving me anxiety Ive not had to worry about using too much data since I joined 3 in 2014.

If i dont get the amazon voucher. Im going to be pretty annoyed.

im a current Lebara customer, my monthly data was added yesterday for £6.95, if I switch from my 12GB to a new 15GB package will they charge me £6.99 again today?
    Rahan's avatar
Yes, if you buy it today.

Just moved from Plusnet Mobile (poor coverage, closing down) to Lebara through MoneySavingExpert deal, 6m for 99p then £4.40 for 3GB/300m/UL and I now get 4G (Plusnet was poor 3G).
Have to say - 2 weeks in - much better coverage and no issues...all comm's from Lebara have been spot-on!
They piggy-back Vodafone (was with Voda years ago and they weren't great).
    robertfrancis1975's avatar
I moved from Vodafone, so far, Lebara have been faultless, i even get wifi calling on my Remi Note 10 Pro.
