Can I switch my current Lebara deal to this one? What's the process?
    mail2apkr's avatar
    1. Get this Lebara SIM , don't activate
    2. Get free ASDA SIM ( or any other)
    3. Get PAC code from your existing Lebara sim
    4. Put your ASDA SIM in mobile, use your Lebara PAC codes (from step 3) to port your number to ASDA ( At this point you current lebara sim moved to ASDA network)
    5. Let it run on ASDA network for 24 hours or so.
    6. Get the PAC code from ASDA
    7. Activate(put the sim in mobile) new Lebara SIM and port the ASDA sim to the new one ( use the PAC codes from step 6)
    8. Now you will be having new lebara sim with old number ( you can through old lebara and new ASDA sim card in bin)

    Hope this helps

I got the sim last time round think it was 99p for 12gb. just a question I havent activated it yet, but was wondering how I cancel it?
    Mr.Plow's avatar
If you haven't activated it then just don't, you'll have paid the initial 99p that's it.

    Do they do eSIM?
    humorleung's avatar
    nope

Guess who's back? back again, not 1p but a good deal, heat added.

Lebara have slowed down in Torbay, Smarty is now definitely faster, Lebara still usable but mildly annoying streaming ITV when the adverts come on and because they are in max resolution it does not want to work on 4G.
  6. NC23's avatar
Just bought the 89p 5GB SIM, do they need to be activated immediately? Or is there a set period when I can leave it until I need to activate the SIM? Trying to leave it as long as possible until I go on holiday to activate
    mutley1's avatar
    you have 90 days
  7. Scrooge_McDuck's avatar
I ordered the cheaper Lebara Sim before seeing the one for slightly more data and ordering that. I obviously don't mind losing the initial 24p payment but what do I do to stop them charging monthly? If I don't use the sim or even put it in a phone, do I still get billed?
    humorleung's avatar
you won't get charged further if you don't activate it
  8. CaptainRogers's avatar
Does anyone know if you can add a cap to the balance? I want to get one for a child.
    mutley1's avatar
it's a top up so you can't go over the monthly spend. just don't set up auto top up and it means then that you will not be able to use the services once the monthly limit has been reached as far as i understand. auto renew needs to be set but auto top up can be left in the default option of none. (edited)
  9. fayraz's avatar
    Shame they don't do a 10GB plan.
    samjane1979_'s avatar
Have a look on go switch, lebara do a 10gb plan it's £6.95 pm tho which is still pretty cheap
  10. mutley1's avatar
damn. i got the 49p one on Friday, which hasn't yet been delivered. can i get this one and cancel the other one? how do i do that as they have taken the 49p already.
    coolstar's avatar
They sent an email to me, I didn't need to do anything. This is what they sent me
48421243_1.jpgThere isn't any gaurantee but they did match it for me... It was done 3 days after I purchased it (edited)
  11. nathankw's avatar
Can you get more than one of these special offer sims? I've already ordered the 0.49p one (not yet arrived).
Can I order this on the same account or do I need to open a separate account?
    Mr.Plow's avatar
Yeah think you can have 3 Sims per account.
  12. Norcino's avatar
If I buy it now, can I activate it after the 30th of October?
    humorleung's avatar
    you can
  13. Scrooge_McDuck's avatar
Buying this, you set up a recurring payment on your card. How do you cancel it when you no longer want it.(ie when the cost goes up after 6-months!)
    gardner1's avatar
    You turn auto renew off
  14. haribo789's avatar
Does the extra 5GB for Porting in current number apply to most of their sim deals or just this? Also, is that 5GB extra per month?
    t3r4's avatar
It's a one off, so pretty useless unless you for some reason will have heavy usage this month.
  15. BenzBoy's avatar
WiFi calling wouldn't work on Pixel 6 (as mentioned by their customer services rep on Chat). Apparently an issue they have escalated to Google! Deal breaker for me as there's no reception where I am. Lebara WiFi calling works perfectly fine on wifey's Samsung.
Shame it doesn't on Google. Can anyone confirm if it works on their Pixel 6? (edited)
    Skol's avatar
Didn't work on Pixel 5 for me but didn't try any other handset

Ordered sim Wednesday night. They have taken the £0.24 but no email to say sim has been dispatched. Anyone had the sim delivered or dispatched email from this deal?
    Scrooge_McDuck's avatar
I ordered two sims on Wednesday....the 24p and the 89p. one generated a dispatch email, the othere did not. Both sims arrived today.

Don't forget there has been a postal strike on Thursday and that doesn't just effect deliveries that day. Each day's strike can mess the system up for days. I think you have to just be patient.

    when does this expire
    humorleung's avatar
    31st Oct
  18. mxer450's avatar
Do you order sim, then sort pac code later? App or online?.

    Thanks in advance
    Scrooge_McDuck's avatar
Order sim. Activate sim. Submit PAC on an online form.

    Very quick with mine.
  19. DoublePortingDad's avatar
Can I order two SIM cards at once (one order, one basket, one payment) or do I need to buy them one by one?

Can I order two SIMs at once from two different deals (15GB and 5GB)? Add them to the basket and pay once for both?

    Thanks.
    humorleung's avatar
    only 1 by 1 I think
  20. pravin333's avatar
i was with lebara a year ago do I need to creat separate email address
    humorleung's avatar
No, just use the same email.

Great deal, but internet is very ropey in busy areas, as vodafone seem to prioritize their own customers. Haven't been able to access internet through Lebara in busy train stations or football crowds.

Snap I’ve experienced the same issue in west LONDON
    It was a nightmare

They should be doing this FREE with multipack purchase of Cornflakes or beer !

Hope these are still running in December when my Three contract is up. Planning to get a cheap intro for six months and probbaly stay with them. Got a 1 pence deal on a holiday phone and it worked perfectly in Spain. Also their wifi calling is excellent.
    Sqsq's avatar
If you have less than 6 months left on Three maybe still worth moving.

With Sky Mobile I got a PUC online to port my number and it showed me what early termination fees would be due. I had less than 5 months left on 3GB per month data.

I still moved to Lebara because effectively only paying an extra 1p per month, but no more contract. I'd be no worse off financially but have 15GB data, 100 international minutes, free EU roaming (and WiFi calling works!).

Bonus is after 6 months Lebara will be still cheaper when 1p ends than what Sky Mobile contract was. Will very likely stay or jump onto whatever cheap Lebara deal is on offer near the time 1p ends for me.

Or jump elsewhere because ... no contract (edited)
  25. Marvyn's avatar
Can I buy now & activate in December when my current plusnet mobile contract expires?
    mail2apkr's avatar
I assume you can, I did it last time ( didn't activate it for 1.5 month)
  26. Richard_Gldn's avatar
I got the 1p MSE one last time, but it billed me the £6.90 after the first month. Its impossible to speak to their customer service team! So gave up on Labara - also could not get the roaming to work when in Italy and France (which was the reason I got it)
    Ian_Mears's avatar
That’s odd. I got the same deal and only been charged the 1p so far. Did you try using the online chat as I’ve found that to be quite responsive
  27. hsduk101's avatar
What fight round we at yet? Can't be that far from the 1p knockout (edited)

    lanceuppercut's avatar
Come on Lyca, are you going to let Lebara beat you?

Only a sissy company would take this laying down and not respond with 1p for 24 months, I dare you....
  31. RedXI's avatar
I know things aren't exactly going well right now but a 2400% price increase on my current Lebara plan is extreme.

    Hi.

I have unlimited EE in my Pixel 6.

Would this be good purely to use for EU roaming?

I always take two phones as Google maps and camera soon eat batteries.
    jumpinoffthbed's avatar
You have to top it up to use it abroad it won't use the included minutes /data
  38. deleted2850942's avatar
I see Lebara & Lyca want to be Ukraine in this war! Good stuff for us, at least something is actually getting cheaper!

    GO Ukraine

We all better have free Ukraine roaming on all providers for a few years for tourists when they are finished with the Mushians, tourists will play the biggest part of getting parts of Ukraine built again, yes looking at your long term promo too British Airways

I click get deal but it only shows the 5gb plan. How do I look at the 3gb one?
  40. Immortal-Cat's avatar
Good deal. Will pick up the 5gb plan for a relative since I got her a lyca contract which didnt even work!
