Quite tempted but very poor knowledge of processors and capability. I'd probably want to play CS GO at best, work (not compute power intensive), and watch movies, and perhaps learn to code. How capable is this laptop for what I've mentioned?

You wouldn't be able to run CSGO at the native resolution of the display, so would need to run at lower resolution and upscale (blurry). When watching films you'll lose almost 30% of the vertical space on this display to letterboxing because of its 16:10 aspect ratio, which isn't ideal on an already small screen. IMO this is much better suited for work. (edited)

Every Yoga I've looked at seems comes with a glossy screen. A bit ick.

Thanks for posting! Should I got for this or that one for £50 more? I could use the extra screen size but not sure about the rest of the config.

My usage will be mostly work, internet browsing, some media streaming and that’s pretty much it.

That one has a lower resolution display which isn't always necessarily a bad thing, but it's a TN panel as opposed to the IPS on this, with lower brightness as well. It'll look MUCH worse. If you want to stretch out a bit more then get this.

I would be stay away from Lenovo. They have a chronic problem with their hinges. After a while the screen frame comes off, it's made of a cheap plastic. Be considered before purchasing it.

That's probably their more budget models. I had a yoga slim and it was an all metal body, felt very solid and high quality.

there is confusingly, a windows 10 version and a windows 11 version of this,

    the windows 11 version (82CY002XUK) is £429 i.e. £30 more.
(the windows 10 version (82CY0012UK ) has sold out at £399 on amazon)

you can select the windows 11 version below it in the boxes...

everything else seems to be the same spec, but is that the only difference between them? hmmm

Anyone have any experience with this machine at all? (edited)
