LIGHT UP YOUR WORLD with SELF-LIT PiXELS

LG OLED TV is a joy to behold. Self-lit pixels allow truly spectacular picture quality and a whole host of design possibilities, while the latest cutting-edge technologies help deliver unprecedented levels of wonder. This is everything you love about TV — elevated in every way.

What makes OLED unlike anything else?
The answer is self-lit pixels. A self-luminous display technology that makes all the difference to your viewing experience. Unlike LED TVs that are restricted by backlight technology, LG OLED TVs are capable of extreme realism and unique designs.

SELF-LIT PiXELS.
100 million reasons to love OLED.

When it comes to picture quality, OLED beats LED hands down. That's because OLED has millions of self-lit pixels capable of producing perfect black and accurate colour. The result is a viewing experience like no other.

OLED puts LED in the shade.
Put simply, OLED has millions of self-lit pixels that can turn on and off to achieve perfect black and infinite contrast. That black is better than both mini-LED and LED TVs. So it doesn't matter how many thousands of backlights they have, LED TVs will still be in OLED's shadow.

OLED passes with flying colours.
Global testing agency Intertek has confirmed that LG OLED displays have 100% colour fidelity. This means that the colours you see on the screen closely match the colours of the original image. So everything you watch looks as the creator intended.

A dazzling display of colour.
LG OLED TVs achieve full Colour Volume thanks to the excellent colour reproduction technology of LG TVs. With 100% Colour Volume, LG OLED can express 100% of the DCI-P3 spectrum across a 3D colour space that covers the TV's full luminance range. This means that colours remain vivid and lifelike with full saturation no matter how bright or dark the display.

LG OLED TV.
A view found nowhere else.

If you're looking for a TV like no other, look no further. LG OLED TV is a work of art, a big-screen cinema, a portal to gaming worlds, and a front row seat to the biggest sporting events. It's everything you want TV to be.

OLED Cinema.
The award for best picture goes to…

LG OLED TV produces an award-worthy performance every time you watch thanks to its incredibly sharp picture. And with perfect black and 100% colour fidelity, movies are seen how they're meant to be seen.

A transformative TV experience.
Dolby Vision IQ intelligently adjusts picture settings based on content genre and ambient surroundings, while Dolby Atmos delivers multi-dimensional surround sound — a powerful combination that produces breathtakingly cinematic results.

Features

  • LG 4K SELF-LIT OLED for infinite contrast & 100% colour fidelity
  • Advanced α9 Gen4 AI processor 4K for ultimate picture & sound
  • Exceptional cinema & sport with Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos
  • Powerful gaming with HDMI 2.1, VRR, HFR, Game Optimiser
  • Low blue light & flicker free for less eye fatigue and safer viewing

I've done so much research on the c2 that I've not considered C1. Is it worth posting extra for c2 at around 1099
    jody.porter's avatar
My local peter Tyson’s store had both the c1 and c2 on next to each other. You could tell the difference between the screen quality but it’s only marginally. The deeper blacks in the c2 probably better for movies and gaming. Im holding out for a C2 offer 😁

This any good for console gaming? It would be replacing an old 2017 lg oled b7

It’s so good. I’m using a C1 which is basically the same.

PS5 utilises VRR and the TV has up to 120Hz refresh. So games that support it can run really smooth. It also takes advantage of many games that offer an in-between graphics option.

Usually games are 4K @ 30FPS or 1080p @ 60FPS. This TV allows 4K @ 40FPS so you get the sex graphics and ray tracing and still pretty smooth.

As mentioned in a reply above.. I bought this TV through Marks Electrical last year. Should of been £44 cashback but they didn’t honour their cashback claims.

I also emailed them on purchase asking that the item packaging be checked before despatch for the updated serial code - letter P or Q as fourth digit of serial. To make sure it was a newly manufactured product (with the G1 screen). If it wasn’t I would consider cancelling the order. They never even bothered to reply to the email and sent me the TV anyway.

They later advised there was a return fee to pay now I had the item (from memory I think it was £40) and I was childishly too excited to have it arrive that I caved in and kept it anyway. Really poor service. I wouldn’t recommend them personally.

Just in case anyone is interested. (edited)

What the details dont tell you is that OLED tv's are prone to screen burn in , mini QLED tv's dont have this problem.
    Juanpablo's avatar
Not prone to screen burn in, older models were. Unless you abuse the TV

There are a few cheaper deals been posted than this

If anyone know's how to combine the blue light offer with the amex offer... I'm all ears
    Alvie's avatar
You just enable the amex offer in the app, then make the purchase through the site using your amex card after enabling the BLC discount
  21. KevlarMonkey's avatar
Why does no one talk about discounts for teachers? I just got 10% of using that. Tried to stack the Amex offer but encountering the same issues as others. Opted for PayPal with Amex in case I can get it that way. Doubtful but will give Amex a call next week to plead ignorance...

I’ve noticed a lot of LG on here at some cracking prices. Just a wondering if these are also the ones that suffer from screen burn? I only ask as my brother had this issue and is now forced into buying another TV. If so, people be aware this problem is real and LG are doing nothing to support this (edited)
    gummby's avatar
All oled could suffer from burn in. Just got to be careful. One of the reasons I waited for it to drop below £759 as less risk.
  24. Jay110's avatar
Snapped this up with HealthServiceDiscounts 10% without getting a bluelight card and added 10% AMEX using Chrome on my laptop. Interestingly I bought this around 2pm when it showed “1 left in stock”… then showed “5 in stock” after buying it.. not sure how true or accurate stock levels are.

don’t forget it’s also free next day delivery. TV is scheduled for a Sunday delivery (tomorrow) (edited)

Same panel as this TV, but the C2 processor.

Bought a LG OLED 3 years ago and it's brilliant. Only complaint is the LG own OS where you are limited to the apps available to install.
    CatsWithThumbs's avatar
To be fair that's not really an LG problem. Samsung, Hisense, Panasonic, Sony, Philips etc will all be in the same boat unless you get something that runs Android or Roku for example.
  27. Deal_searcher's avatar
