    I have had this for a few years and used it a handful of times and it worked great. However last time I used it it didn't click at all regardless of the torque setting. I'd left it stored in the garage.

    Did you leave it stored set to 2Nm? If you don't, these will lose internal spring force and eventually stop clicking.

    The same can also happen if over-torquing much beyond ~24Nm, or much behind the click point, as there is no force release on these - it will permanently stretch the internal spring, or damage the roller pin/bearing.

    The internals on mini torque wrenches are quite delicate and are designed to be used very, very lightly and slowly.

    Also avoid using it for undoing bolts, instead have a separate fixed wrench for that, and also use a fixed wrench to do most of your tightening, and finish it off with the torque wrench.

    This will not only keep your torque wrench working, but it will keep it accurately calibrated over a much, much longer period.

    Seems awfully good value even at £40 so this seems to be a steal. We're not driving F1 cars, I'm sure this'll be just fine for our bikes.

    Nice but 24Nm a little low? Crank arms etc are normally set at 40Nm or so.

    Pretty sure this isn't made for that... this is a small torque wrench used for fixing handlebars, stem, seatposts etc to the frame. 40nm is a lot of force, you'd need a standard size torque wrench.
