Does anyone use it on router with a connection issue? It disconnected once or twice daily

i only use three uk for mine and it's been splendid so far. doesn't disconnect unless the internet suffers downtimes, which only lasts seconds

Honestly never seen such a poor service provider, my wife has EE, wanted to try Lyca, since it’s a dual sim used both, in places where EE is available not necessarily Lyca will work as they use EE network very poor coverage infact

They don’t allow access to 800MHz Band 20 frequencies. This is particularly useful both indoors and rural areas since the low frequencies both travel further and penetrate walls better.

If you want the full range of EE’s network signal at a lower price check out 1p Mobile. They support this. As well as the likes of WiFi calling too.

    Only 12GB of roaming…

12GB more EU Roaming than what most of the major networks include in their plans!

Advertising as unlimited should be illegal when there is a Fair Usage Policy. They can get away with anything

Unlimited should mean unlimited, no if’s or but’s, take them to court otherwise.

    Great deal...

Just seen this in their T&Cs, which high data users might want to consider, as it looks like they might have a Fair Usage Policy of about 450GB a month.

Seems reasonable and should be more than enough for 99% of the population.

Also just done some digging around and would appear Lyca will let you unofficially use the SIMs in a router. However they claim in the Social Media responses their plans are designed to work in mobile phones, and might be unable to provide support. But you can give it a try.

That will explain the speeds I'm getting then :/ - Mind you I get 2/3mb download at the best of times (even via a VPN).
Been using it for about a week now.

If you like companies that put a recurring payment on your card until 2037.

    This company is a joke.

I second this. Research before choosing them.

One recommendation: Do not use them for your main number!

I would only move to them to obtain PAC and move back to Lebara.i.e 0.01 p/mth deal 100 min international and then switch back to Lebara who have CService

why Lyca can offer EU roaming but EE charge like £2 ish a day or something?
    Wojciech_Celewicz's avatar
Similar to Smarty.co.uk and three network. Smarty offers roaming for free wherever Three does charge each time.

LycaMobile are the only MVNO to offer eSIM
    KodaBear's avatar
Virgin Mobile also have them. They’re an o2 MVNO for now.

Good deal, crap company, came away and went to Lebara

I moved from ee to lyca 2 months ago. Could not send long texts. Phone connection kept dropping, signal loss a lot more than ee. Texts not arriving or hours later. Voicemail service is awful. Just switched back to EE. With lyca it seems to do get a service that reflects the price
    Lukasz_Jurys's avatar
Lebara have good deals recently took two internation sim only 30 day agreement for 0.49 p each / mth
Lyca is just set to foreighners i guess who take long contract with them.If you pay cheap money per month they do not afraid to loose you as customer.i defo wont use lyca again...

Anyone know is it possible to add more than one Lyca phone number to an online account, have a bunch of their deals and have to set up accounts with separate emails for each, on top of that lost the pak card that came with some sims so can't even set up an account for those.
    KodaBear's avatar
You can’t. Every mobile phone number is it’s own account. BUT you can use the same email address with different phone numbers.

Customer service will be able to give you the lost PUK codes.

I don't know why all these Lyca offers have expired when they haven't? I've tried a couple of them now, all offer what they're supposed to and i've just taken up the 6 months unlimited for £10 deal and completed checkout!
