The Makita DRT50Z is the first cordless router in the Makita range and is the 18v version of the best selling RT0700 with features including a brushless motor for low maintenance and longer run time per battery.

The DRT50Z has a solid construction with aluminium housing and base for higher durability & accuracy and has collet capacity of 3/8" and 1/4". Soft start avoids "snagging" when operated and a variable speed control allows speeds between 10,000 - 30,000 rpm making it ideal for both delicate and high speed routing and trimming.

Other features include constant speed control that keeps the speed constant when under load, a LED job light to illuminate the work area, push button on/off switch with lock on/off and dust extraction connectability.
