    The mcplants are surprisingly nice (from a meat eater). They're also included in the food for thought voucher offer now as well

    As an ex meat eater, thank you for giving a vegan burger a try and posting honest feedback rather than the usual "IT'S NOT MEAT.. IT TASTES BAD" that people who haven't even tried it say 🥴 💚

    The mcplant is simply horrible, as simulated meat often is. I'd rather have a pattie of something that isn't trying to taste like beef and failing miserably, like the Spicy Bean burger.

    The McPlant is horrid

    I’m not a vegan or vegetarian but I do like to try the various alternatives to meat and the McPlant is one of the worst I have had.

    I had one today for lunch, at £1.39 it beats a sandwich.

    Not quite as good as a normal big mac however quite edible.

    One thing I did notice though is the customise options in the app for the mcplant only allowed you to take things away, not add extra gherkins/salad/onions etc....
