Just so you are informed where it’s coming from. Not saying that it’s a good or bad thing, just good to know.

I used to order from muscle food but the orders rarely, and I mean maybe 3 times in 50 orders, were correct. Each time the standard response was sorry this never happens and I would say look at last week's email and get some curt response from them. The quality got worse and worse but I'm lazy and continued to order for the convenience. Eventually I had had enough and I really doubt I spend the 80 pounds I used to spend a week getting the food delivered in supermarkets. If applied correctly musclefood could be a great company but I wouldn't recommend them at all

I suspect if you add this all up it comes to roughly £35 if bought separately at an Aldi or Lidl. Good if you have the storage, but otherwise
just as cheap to buy it all as needed.

A quick mental priceup has this at about £45 for cheap supermarket prices, possibly £40 for Lidl as their chicken breasts are far cheaper than anywhere else.

However I'd expect a lot of added water in the supermarket ones, especially the lidl. In addition to getting less actual meat for your money, having your meat leak so much water that you're basically boiling it when cooking is annoying.

170g Sirloin steak is a bit small, an old school 8oz steak is a pub would be 227 grams.

This is it. I buy the grass fed ribeye from Lidl and it's been great. That's 285 grams for about £6.70. 170 wouldn't be enough for me.

I've been a regular customer as of late, and have to say everything has been spot on.

I used to love muscle food, but not used recently. Note the minced beef is grainy squashed pieces (similar to the size of Quorn mince pieces) and much of the meat is imported from overseas.
Chicken is definitely pumped up with water, but not as much as in UK supermarkets do it.
Sausages, haunche steaks (which I use as burgers) and bacon medallions are great.
I used them for a Christmas hamper once, and it was excellent.
    Great deal! (edited)

Check the weights before you order as you might be disappointed I no I was when my order came. Also check it’s all there that’s in the offer as there was 3 items that hadn’t sent. It is good quality though

haven't ordered for the last few years, but their chicken was better than lidl / aldi. I remember when they first started back in 2014 ish they had the most incredible meat quality for the price, but over the years they are the same as supermarkets now.

Lidl, Tesco and Asda have the worst chicken quality, but at least Lidl is cheap.

Are you buying the cheapest stuff or the better stuff out of lidl? For beef they're pretty on par actually and you should judge by packet, but the chicken if you get the deluxe is a big difference and very good for whole chicken.

try your local butcher alot of them do these big packs and can deliver.

It's cheaper to buy a whole chicken and cut it yourself , you get more breasts than what you buy in supermarkets 🤷🏾 (and you still get extra meats with the wings and drumsticks )

Decent price. I just don't like all my meat shrink wrapped.

I could get all this and more from my local butchers (the only place we buy meat now) for about this price.

Just goto your local butcher, Muscle food quality has dropped off the scales

All my local butchers fancy themselves as upmarket delis now and are charging over the odds. £70 for a medium sized turkey last christmas.

I’m a meat moron, does anyone have any links to get me savvy, I would go to butcher but I have no clue what to even ask for, guess supermarkets have ruined me. The current meat in supermarkets is absolutely awful and expensive for a lot or water, gel and fake forged cuts. I want to dump them.

Just go there once a week and try a new thing each time

    Everything in there is healthy
