I just got the GTR version of this today (round rather than rectangle, otherwise identical). Genuinely impressive for the price, even the speaker’s fairly decent which I didn’t expect.

A few glitches here and there, and it’s reminding me how infuriating raise-to-wake can be on a watch. But it beats paying £200+ more for a certain other brand

Any suggestions for a cheap and cheerful smart watch, never had one probably don't need one, but if I can get something cheap worth a go, they can't all be rubbish the cheaper end can they, there must be a handful of somewhat decent performers..cheers

Watches are in that annoying category of you need to spend some to get something decent. That said however, you might want to look for a Galaxy Watch refurb. Series 4 being the newest of decent older generations. Rather, the most recent that still hold up decently.

Well, after extensive study and research - the conclusion is that this watch is a potato. It was a fun experiment though, well worth the £4.88 entry fee.

Definitely get one and give it to your unsuspecting 5 year old child. (edited)
