Sorry Op, not voted either way but carpet tennis shoes is pretty niche (just calling it out incase someone thinks to buy for hardcourt tennis p.s. no, they'll be awfully uncomfortable for just walking in, all tennis shoes are/should be as they're all about lateral support).

Oh, and the Auras got pounded for being damn uncomfortable also so take that as you will. I was one of many that returned them last month and I think they were cheaper than this.

I bought the Nike Vapor for Padel tennis, and they are so uncomfortable. Did I buy the wrong type of trainer for Padel?

I wouldn’t assume carpet tennis footwear is popular and its outsole is only suitable for carpet surface. Unlike clay court tennis footwear, you can put on playing at hard court  and the clay court tennis footwear soles wear out faster than the hard court tennis footwear.

Nike had a cracking deal on a predominantly white and grey model that I was kicking myself that I didn't go for. It was reduced down to £102, and given how comfortable they are for me, even more so that Air Max 360, I would have paid it. Alas, I was slow to act and 14 was sold out pretty quickly
