Load of J’s at the back of the one in West Brom the other day if anyone is interested

dadsycool

I think so as they had limited amounts of Jordan’s and the ‘back wall’ as they call it only had 30% off marked price! On the plus side I bought a dri-fit Basketball t-shirt for £5 and a Nike Elite black basketball vest (dri-fit) for £8.

Jmc0812

Went there today and no sizes over 8 really. Had one pair of 10’s and that was it. Luckily didn’t have a 1 hour drive for nothing and grabbed a couple of pairs of flyknit Air Max for £35 a pair. Bargain considering they’re still current and over £120 everywhere

Unfortunately couldn't find these for sale in my local Morrisons

Sharpharp

Lol, you went and researched it to protect your deal? That article refers to the Nut variety, the bar none relates to the Strawberry version... Enjoy being owned in your own thread... (highfive)

Terrahawks

So your unfounded statement has no merit if you look at these - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-40301978 https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/sugar-content-in-cereals-revealed-in-report_uk_583d4dcfe4b09c3be98494f4 https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/shopping-and-consumer-news/11373080/The-10-most-sugary-breakfast-cereals.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-3815313/The-breakfast-cereals-contain-twice-sugar-pain-au-chocolate-pastry.html BAR NONE YOU SAY!!!!!

FTheK

Yeah the sugar content per 100g is a bit high but not out of the ordinary. The high protein ones also included in this deal are actually worse than the normal ones. Sugar per 100g 500g nuts - 18.9g Raspberry - 18.7g Strawberry - 20.8g Protein nuts - 19.3g Protein berry - 21.6g some others for comparison Weetabix minis fruit and nut - 22g Morrisons strawberry granola - 18.1g Weetabix (full size) banana - 15g Alpen original muesli - 21g Cheerios - 18g Weetabix - 4.4g Crunchy Nut Cornflakes - 35g (!) So all in all, it could be better, but it could be worse. And keep in mind that this has dried fruit in as well which adds significant sugar, but hopefully a little goodness too, unlike crunchy nut cornflakes. If you want to ensure make sure you aren't getting any added sugar you have to basically have something boring like plain Weetabix or porridge and whack your own dried or fresh fruit in to make it tasty. I'd have something like Jordan's as an occasional treat rather than breakfast every day. It is damned tasty though.

kevessex

THanks. I shall take a look on the packaging.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I see this point was lost on you - and I'd like to help clarify for you so you don't miss out on the joke, which I believe, was your following statement: "I've no problem with them choosing to ban political content as long as they enforce it evenly." Im assuming your serious, not trolling, it's hard to tell. The statement has a perfectly ironic ring to it, it's surprising anyone could've missed it, or come up with it without trying. Your sentence sounds like a line from a more comical remake of 1984, a good one. The sentence also fully embodies precisely the kind of ideological values held by the far left, which Peterson breaks down from a psychological perspective at great length in detail. Holding values like 'equality' above all others tends to convert into big governments whose publics are not at all concerned with the level of oppression, just so long as it's equal - or in the name of social justice. Hence 100 million dead under Left governments in the 20th century alone. I'm wondering what there is for you not to like about the dire atrocities that killed tens of millions throughout the 20th Century under the left, that the industrial slaughter wasn't evenly distributed enough? I've sometimes asked lefty's this - when they say they want equality, do they mean at all costs, including - equally worse off, or equally oppressed by the state? But I've never heard a lefty so plainly acknowledge their deeply flawed values up front. I think that's basically where the comedy lies, and maybe it's amplified a bit by the fact you genuinely didn't grasp it, even after it was pointed out. Or maybe it was the notion of someone on the left being originally censored by some media platform. They would be my best guesses, anyway. Hope I helped.

bizzargainhunter

So what you're saying is.. we should organise our societies like the lobsters...??

retrend

Yeah I've no clue what joke you're making.

MadeInBeats

The joke's probably lost on you - lost around jupiter somewhere - but I'm going to frame this comment of yours and laugh at it hilariously on days ending with a 'y'. (excited) XD XD (excited)

retrend

I've no problem with them choosing to ban political content as long as they enforce it evenly. Originally it was just my posts that were flagged.

Compare with the entire ingredients list of a Nakd bar for example: ' Ingredients: Dates (40%), CASHEWS (40%), Raisins (14%), Cocoa (5%), a hint of natural flavouring' Just think it's important to point out you might as well just eat a chocolate bar than one of those Jordans Cereal Bars, they're really not healthy for you.
