What's the difference between the pixel 7?
    realdeals's avatar
This is better and totally crushes the Pixel 7
    Performance
    Screen
    Charging
    Battery life

See a huge swing towards the OP11 without any questions.

Camera performance is going to be a lot closer than some would admit for sure, with OP improving each year

For me personally the OP11's strengths all-round massively outweighs the Pixels strengths, the OP11 is just going to be alot more flexible and fun to use. The super fast charging speed will change your usage and put a smile on your face.

The only app I can see on apple App Store is OnePlus Smart Academy, is it an Android only app?
    killzusall's avatar
It is, have found it on my android tablet, most probably won’t get this but want to be able to get deals like this if the OnePlus Open (upcoming foldable) looks half decent when it’s eventually released

Is there any chart anywhere which phones from different manufacturers and their specs v their competitors?

gsmarena.com offer a pretty comprehensive comparison tool. Pick a phone and look for the compare tab.

Snapdragon 8 gen 2 and decent camera set-up for around £600. Hot for me

50748851-xGVbW.jpgEven though I haven't tried check the actual price or if deal stacking is working, but it should be 5% off.

Why don't they? Got my one plus 8 pro from them

At this price point, would have been nice if it came with 256gb storage
    EugeneVictorTooms's avatar
Would have been even nicer with 512GB.

Is there a pro version for the 11

    No

Oooh tempted. Is it a worthwhile upgrade over my OnePlus 9 pro? Anyone tried?

    Same boat!

I've had my OnePlus 7 Pro for 4 years and still don't really have a reason to upgrade, but maybe an expert among us can explain to me what is really going on with OnePlus in the UK as the 11 does look like an attractive option for me. I have read everything online about their patent and customs issues, but why is it that they specify the 11 as a UK version? If they do leave the UK, seeing as they don't seem to promote the phone here at all, would that plummet the value of the phone?

Fellow OnePlus 7 Pro user here -- I have no idea what's going on with OnePlus either. I have 2 of these OP7 Pro phones running stock -- one is the EU ROM, the other is Global ROM (both identical models 12GB RAM/256GB ROM). EU one was almost always behind the global version for updates by several months but for some reason EU got the Android 12 update first...but then the global one got the 2nd Android update months ago and the EU version is still not getting the 2nd Android 12 update (I check every day). Also if you look at their forums, they seem to be prioritising India for their updates for some reason (their idea of outsourcing beta testing maybe? Who knows). It looks like OnePlus are prioritising any region besides EU -- so I really wouldn't get any phones from them again until their updates situation improves or until their devices become friendly for custom ROM devs again. Without improving their update schedule, I don't see their value holding anywhere near as much as past phones.

Looking for 512gb capacity one... Rest of the specs are really good

Is this a sell off? A nice price with some student action, still the 12/256gb from Nothing is looking ultra competitive, especially with the former OP dev team changing their illegence.
    Topper1900's avatar
Nothing uses last years SoC the OP11 this years 8 Gen 2 so, in theory, should outperform it?
  17. deleted169561's avatar
OP11 or wait for S23+, if it gets to similar price again? Would be upgrade for wife from S21+.

Compared them on GSMArena and not much difference....
    Topper1900's avatar
Probably far better OS support from Samsung and a massive difference in trade in value in 3 or so years time, particularly as it's not clear how committed OP are now to the EU/UK markets.
