FYI, most of Scotland is not (UK Mainland) to this company

So many of these eBay sellers use couriers that basically class Scotland as non-mainland. It is so annoying. And it'll go from free delivery to around £30 no doubt. I live in Dundee, so I'm not exactly in the far reaches of northern Scotland, miles from civilisation (although you can apply that term fairly loosely here), but I've come across this so often.

Doing some research on these cheaper storage beds seems to suggest the quality isn't great.
Low quality materials, badly fitting pieces, slats that break easily and gas lifts that don't work properly.

Its cheaper for a reason. However I bought a king size version and the lift mechanism still works, none of the slats have broken. Its a bit squeaky and the headboard seems like you could put your finger through it. But it's not damaged or broken. Still looks good after having it for a year.

Quality is absolutely shocking. Trust me, don't bother!

I bought years ago from these when they used to be called ljinteriors(or something) and the quality was just about acceptable.

Bought again last year and the bed frame is all bent and one of the 'heavy duty' brackets snapped.

I also opted for a memory foam mattress for the spare room but, it was like 3 inches thick, it was nothing like advertised.

I would avoid at absolute all costs. Even if it was £99 I'd avoid.

Coming up at £311.21 for me

I think you added a mattress, remove that and it should be the advertised price with the code.

Whether you pay £150 or 450, you will be getting essentially the same bed. Once I put my £450 one together I have vowed never to buy another ottoman. The mechanism is weak and broke the first time the bed was moved. I screwed the bolt straight through the wood, so had to buy some washers (not supplied for all bolts), to secure the metal frame to the compressed wood fibre surrounds. Only the IKEA ottoman had better fittings.

It's a cheap price for an ottoman, so in that sense it's a great deal, but really a non-ottoman is better. You can get drawers to slide underneath if you need storage space. (edited)

Got one of those beds earlier this year and the quality is pretty poor, however once you get them assembled, which can be a challenge due to not properly aligned joints and the overall plaster board structure, they are not bad for the price. The slats seem fine, the gas lifts work fine and overall it's not bad.

Check the negative reviews for this seller before buying (even the ones for just the last month). If you're still going to buy, based on those, my advice is don't buy any of the mattresses or the non-standard delivery options. Its cheap for a reason. But lots of people are selling very similar beds at similar prices: ebay.co.uk/itm…265

I’ve had this bed in king size for 3 years and it’s been completely fine.
It needs tightened every now and then to avoid squeaking and they did forget some bits when it first arrived however they sent me a whole new set as soon as I messaged them.
    It’s still going strong.

    Good luck with the mould

I have this bed. It’s not too bad for the price. Just make sure you tighten the bolts every couple of months.
