  • The Deco E4 system only has 100Mbps LAN/WAN ports, which means the maximum transmission speed is 100Mbps through these ports. The WAN port is always connected with the ISP line, so even you have a high-speed bandwidth from your ISP, you can only get a maximum of 100Mbps speed in total. This is why even the negotiating speed between wireless clients and the router can get 450Mbps(2.4GHz), 867Mbps(5GHz), however, the download or upload speed of the devices is still 100Mbps at most

Is there a version that works for speeds over 200Mb?

Yes.. Get one that does WiFi 6 like EX50. Openspeedtest running locally pulls just under 1000Mbit. It is probably limited by the Gigabit port on my server.

4-pack Deco M4 (Gigabit Ethernet ports) was recently £79 on Box.

Heat added. A decent price if you don't have much sharing within the home going on and if your Internet is not faster than 100Mbps. We used an M version of these until recently, when we upgraded to a version that offers support for higher speeds due to our broadband being faster than 100Mbps now.

these really work, but to get a large house covered 3 is required

Don't waste your money on these, only 100mbps Ethernet ports, buy the Deco M4 which often comes up for £50-55 for a twin pack with gigabit ethernet ports

They both give same wifi speed according to their advert, is it just the lan port that is slow on these? Tempted for until wifi6 is cheaper
