Great pen - I have this and love it (although I don't do as much handwriting as I used to)
Someone in the review stated they got black ink instead of Blue, but this can be swapped out when you need a new refill etc.

sorted byThere was also the permanent Indian Inks (most I've seen were black inks) vs soluble blue in the fountain pen world, the latter is useful as you can "erase" it with these German pens like the Pelikan Super-Pirat 850 Ink (it has this tip which acts like bleach and wipes out the soluble blue ink, the other end of that pen has a permanent tip which lets you correct the mistake over the top). I use fountain pens mainly and those Pirat pens are brilliant for mistakes especially during university exams.
