    Does anyone know why these come with black and red in the pack instead of brown and blue.

    Didn't black and red wiring go in late 70s? Saw some when we had a full house rewire a few years ago.

    Cheap for a reason. Won't last long before it dries out and starts to peel

    It is IEC standard 454-3-1 compliant, so doubt it's comparable to the cheap fake Chinese stuff.
