My Philips air fryer, the original, started making a knocking noise after about 5 or 6 years use. It was the fan bolt becoming loose. After much unscrewing, cleaning, fixing and putting back together it worked fine again. Then I noticed rust form on the basket. So I bought a new basket and pan. Then the element stopped working about 3 weeks later. The lord has spoken. I'm going to get a new air fryer.

I would highly recommend the one on here from Costco…..I got one at Christmas and value for money wise and the functions and the size of it…..well it’s great…..(y)

I used to have a Philips smaller than this one posted airfryer then I bought the Gourmia from Costco last year. I would say the quality is better on the Philips one whereas the Gourmia one feels a lot cheaper, lighter and also when you close the drawer it isn’t as smooth. Also I find that the Gourmia has a side which browns more. Whereas the Philips one was even.

my £55 Gourmia from Costco has been working like a champ, so much of these are practically the same thing just rebranded

I have the ninja af400uk. Can't fault it. Been using for over a year, one of the best purchases I've ever made.

How does this compare guys to the one from Costco?….because in the description it doesn’t give the size in litres also the functions don’t look much different…..are we paying more for the name?

I'm a newbie to air fryers, does anyone know how this compares to the uten that is currently discounted on Amazon, which is a better purchase in terms of reliability and quality? amazon.co.uk/gp/…age

Does it need preheated,it's 2000 watts nearly 3k as a oven which you could do a lot more in,i'm confused

Would not recommend this no where near as good quality that Philips air fryers used to be .
I had ours 1 week before the fan started making noise .
while making a meal in this a washer and nut fell into the food from above inside the fryer saw them before serving the food imagine what could have happened if it hadn’t been spotted .
after 2 months of Philips inquiries and emails all they did was offer a replacement or offer a refund I did not feel they grasped the seriousness of the situation .
never again will I purchase Philips .
