A single PS+ subscription gives you free quality games for both the PS3 and Vita, plus you get invited to Beta testing of games not yet released. I can't recommend it enough.

The more I read about PS Plus, the more gutted I feel that I only just paid for a year of Xbox Live in December. I don't understand how people are happy to stand there and accept the brutal love from behind Microsoft offer in comparison. I've grudgingly paid for Xbox Live out of necessity to use half the content on the damn console for three years now, whereas I actually want to pay for the extras Sony are offering. I can't be the only one thinking this. Unless Microsoft pull their finger out soon, I can almost see a mass exodus of customers in time for the new generation...

You can still get them as long as you added them to your collection i.e. purchased them (even though they are free).

This would allow you to play downloaded rather than blu-ray games so will solve your problems. Space will always be an issue, many games are around 11gb and then commonly will have updates to take them to 12gb or more. As such whack in a 500gb or 750 gb drive for £40/£50 and you'll be good to go for a years worth or more of ps+.

Was it £7.99 when you bought it? If you bought it when it wasn't on sale or from somewhere other than Sony, then you have no one to blame. If you bought it on the PSN store when it was at £7.99 and they charged you full price, then definitely give them a call.

I bought it for this price around xmas. Isn't often this drops is price so definitely a good deal (and some great games right now)

If you're paying for PlayStation+ via the PlayStation store - I recommend you purchase credit by buying PSN cards from a retailer, loading them in to your account - then using THAT credit to buy your subscription.

This way - you pay Sony's price and not the price of the PSN+ card from a retailer - where you will pay retailers price.
That's presuming the retailer is charging more than PSN themselves of course.


Remember - if using a credit card on PSN to purchase - your subscription will auto-renews unless you remember to opt out!

You can buy it - add it to your account and they will stack nicely.
You can buy 4x 3 month subscriptions in 1 go and stack the lot - if its cheaper than paying for the full 12 months

Yea, if I'm not mistaken you can buy it now, add it to your account and it will extend the time, so say you have 3 months left and you add a 12 month card it will bump it to 15 months.

I wouldn't say no point but without doubt PS+ makes a Vita a very worth while purchase.

I have a good chunk of cheap physical copies of games anyway but PS+ adds so many more.

£39.99 is the norm. Also these "stack" I bought one cheap and it just adds to ya current sub meaning mine doesn't expire for another 1.5 ish years.

I assume this will carry over to the PS4 too which will be cool.

If I purchase a game using PS Plus do I need to download game straight away or can I cancel the download and then download at another time even if the game is not available for PS Plus members? Also do I need to be online to play the games once downloaded? Thanks.
