Heads Up.
PS Plus 25% discount on 12 month subscription on 5th September for 2 weeks. Making PS+ £30 rather than £39.99.

Taken from posts 11 & 37 from the blog post

Ross, is the 25% discout on PS+ also going to apply to whoever wants to renew the service or is it just for new subscribers? Does the 12 months stack on what I have left?

Posted on 16 August, 2012 at 11:15 am by Ross McGrath
Hello, yeah that was a little bit ambiguous – 25% off for all purchasers and yes of course, you can stack the 12 months on top of your current subscription.

Posted on 16 August, 2012 at 11:41 am by Ross McGrath
The discount on the 12 month subscription will be available from September 5th, also for two weeks.

Edit:
It now has an official announcement in Blog post
blog.eu.playstation.com/201…er/

"From 5th to 19th September a 365 day subscription is on sale at 25% off – that’s €37.49/£29.99, down from €49.99/£39.99. Current subscribers take note – annual subscriptions stack, so you can also take advantage of the reduced price."

Is ps plus worth it?

I get Xbox live gold but tbh haven't played online for months so a waste of money really, at least with ps plus you get added bonuses

Bummer. I just paid for PSN+ this week.

Read this on IGN earlier, roll on the 5th Sept
I might even buy 2 years if its stackable then.

Subs are stackable in PS+

Will definitely buy it, from the games you get its unbelievable. For the price of less than 1 physical game you can get loads!, So far people with PS+ have got NFS Shift 2, Just Cause 2, Infamous, they are getting Red Dead Redemption in September. Defo going to get this.

Cheers op

Anyone know of any good places to get cheap PSN top up cards at the moment as buying some cards cheap plus this deal makes another years plus a good few quid cheaper than normal.

Great timing for me mine runs out on the 5th Sept

(Next Renewal Date: 05/09/2012 @ 07:06 PM)

@Astec123

what about this, now i know some people hate signing up for Littlewoods, Very etc but in the end if you get to save money, who cares. I was thinking about using this if there are no good deals anywhere else.

isme.com/e/q…568

look at the PSN cards, i know they are the exact amount as the PSN cards but if you open up a account, you get £10 off your first order of £25 or more.

Why not just buy a yearly membership, its cheaper in the end?, Especially now its only going to be £30.

With Very you get charged the full amount then suppose to be credited the discount code but alot of people never got credited hence the hate.

Cheers for the suggestion but I'll skip the Very/littlewoods options as they are unreliable. It's like going for a deal knowing it's only a deal with the cashback.

I've got a "save £6 off a £40 Shop" voucher with Tesco but it says that its not valid on gift cards? Anyone know if I take my weekly shop + a PSN bluray boxed card to the till if the voucher would be accepted or have I got not a chance in hell?

i dunno its only last 6 or so months that ps plus have been giving away free ps3 games with it in past its been just the psn games for free and money off the full ps3 games, Im just going to top up my wallet with £10.00 for next 3 weeks and get it then

Excellent one... Have to remember...

Heat added must remember this

Great timing. Only have a month or less left on mine. Think I got the 20% off PSN plus same time last year.

GREAT DEAL WILL GET

PS+ is great HDD is crammed with free stuff =) although tbh I don't play half of it

good price but but not for me.i would rather spend the £30 on psn games for vita or ps3. i have tried ps plus when it came out & only used 4 months out of the 12,all i have to show for it is the free copy of LBP which i don't even like :P

there is no added bonuses, online play remains free,ps plus is a rental service for £5 - £10 Ps3 titles.

Thanks was just gonna get this will hold off now

cold payed £15.00 pound for mine yesterday

Do you buy it through your ps3 for the discount?

Kick_Me_Nackers

Where from?

please note it is seriously worth it if like me you tend to buy a awful amount of playstation network titles with discounts of 20% at times applied to titles as soon as they appear on the store. Only downside though is due to the amount of good buys available you can find there is too many games and too little time lol

some dude off ebay was selling the codes for £15.00 he only had like about 8 of the codes snapped one up

What was the Item number......

So what are the prices then for a year and 90 days. That would be helpful

That was for a US account, though.

Go to one of your free games. Don't go into it. Press triangle, information. Then scroll down to see remaining time. Will show how many days. I have 23 days left so great timing for me.

PlayStation Plus costs £39.99 for a one-year membership and £11.99 for a 90-day membership.

Even if it is a rental service for £5-10 Ps3 titles, you get over 40 over a year which you're paying £30 for. Well under £1 per game.

You also get discounts on stuff you get to keep, cloud storage for game saves (150mb increasing to 1gb soon) and automatic updates so any patches for your games are installed whilst you sleep (or whatever time you choose). Nothing worse than going to play something and having to watch a progress bar for 20mins...

Very tempting...

If it's so helpful, why don't you find it out for yourself and tell everyone else. I assume, as you are typing on the internet, you have access to the internet... Plus the 12 month subscription price is written in the original post.

Maybe that was just a miscommunication on your part, but it really gets on my nerves how there are so many people on here who more or less demand others go and find out information for them. No-one here is paid...

Anyone know the best deal for the Playstation Network Cards in preparation for this?

Thanks for this.
