The Lenovo Legion 7 16" Gaming Laptop is ready for the new generation of gaming. Like to play on ultra settings? Fancy some VR? Or perhaps some 4K gaming? With a 5000 series AMD Ryzen 7 processor and RTX 3080 graphics, you have the power to enjoy it all in high fps.

Quad HD gaming screen

To get the most out of high framerates, you need a fast display. With the Legion 7, you get 165 Hz refresh rate with Free-Sync and G-Sync. That means smooth and fluid gaming without tearing or blurring.

Its 16” display offers widescreen Quad HD resolution with great colour accuracy and high dynamic range, so it really shines not only in high FPS gaming, but when watching (or creating) videos and films.

Strike with precision

Reach the number one spot with the help of the Legion TrueStrike keyboard. Featuring anti-ghosting keys and speedy 3 ms response times, you can put your gaming skills to the test. Plus, with 4-zone RGB backlighting, it looks pretty cool too.

The Legion 7 comes equipped with stereo Harman speakers. Combined with the Nahimic 3D audio you'll be able to locate your enemies with amazing precision.

This is a fantastic laptop and a decent price but for context I bought this exact laptop in may last year direct from lenovo for £1600, that was a very good deal but they do often do very good deals so if it was me I'd personally wait for an offer on this or a newer model if spending this sort of money. Overall the laptop is fantastic, great performance, build, very good keyboard and lovely screen but here are some annoyances: No biometric login (no windows hello or fingerprint) rgb lights default to a horrible rainbow swirl and its a huge pain to just have a colour of your choice without the battery life taking a beating. The back light takes way too long to activate so if feels slow waking up despite it actually being super fast. can confirm with an external display. Fan noise although generally fine will sometimes kick in even in quiet mode do nothing but browsing, something that never happened on my alienware 13 r3. I still think its one of the best laptops you can buy but there are definitely points that can be improved. (edited)

What sort of price does this normally go down to, tempted to buy it but if it goes down a considerably amount I'll wait

This is a Legion 7 not 7i (7i has Intel chip)

Prices are tumbling on 30 series laptops! Really nice spec, this won't hang around long!

£1390 from CeX with 2 year warranty, this is only 3 month warranty. I guess the question then becomes whether a 'refurbished' one is going to be in better nick than something chopped in at CeX...

Has anybody bought a refurb form this company before please? I think it looks like a reasonable price if you purchase the extended warranty but just a little wary on buying a refurb
