Be prepared to have a completely non-existent customer support if you go with this company. (edited)

My experience with them has been great - super fast responses, e-mails outside of normal working hours (I mean real human mails, not automated replies) , and resolved my issue very quickly.

Is this the cricket one? So you have to love cricket and play cricket and have a cricket pass number?

But it may also not be the cricket only network deal I've read about....or looking at it. Maybe Royal Wales golf? (edited)

Not off to a good start at all. Sim received today, its a Now Mobile sim with a sticker on it. Not an issue. But go to activate and you have to email them. App doesn't work even though they say there is an app and calling them you don't even get put into a queue. They say they are busy and just hang up. Have sent an email, will see what they say.

I’ve had one of their sims for a few months.
Only ported out as the other half has a spare sim she’s already paying for but when that contract’s up I’ll be moving again - it’s on o2 and they’re rubbish in general around Derby (ish).
With RWG I’ve had the occasional issue, asked via their email and been responded to sometimes within the hour, other times longer.
They don’t do Wi-Fi calling, which I’d prefer.
Otherwise they’re great for the price and I get 5g most places I go (in fact it uses up the data quicker as it’s good connecting to 5g I suppose).
I did buy a £20 credit assuming I’d waste it as usual on competitions or if I went over but was refunded as soon as I asked for it.
They don’t do short text codes, or whatever they’re called, so no wasting funds on competitions!

I’ve got another of their (£20 for 1 year)sims which I use in the iPad and I’ve put another in a phone for my dad to use. Both fine for that usage. They’re even good for use in any device which is a big plus I think.

In a nutshell, I rate them.
The slight worry is they’ve gone bust and resurrected once, apparently.
An app would be a handy addition but at the moment I keep an eye on my accounts with them via their not great to navigate website. (edited)

even better just pay £20 upfront for an annual sim (but only 250 mins 250 texts) and 2GB data for the year...

I did this few days ago, to use purely as backup SIM for my main o2 SIM, if I need to make calls or access the internet and o2 is playing up (getting worse all the time). I can then buy a data BOLT on adhoc if I need more data.

OR pay £30 upfront for the same but with EU roaming. However if I abroad and the RWG SIM gets me better roaming than O2 SIM then I would be buying a data BOLT on anyway which comes with EU roaming.

The equivalent to the above on 1p mobile which I tried first (and is good) is £36 a year but that gets you unlimited calls and texts but ONLY 250MB data a month. So I cancelled 1pm mobile and went with RWG instead, (edited)

What are the speed like? Are they capped/can anyone run a test?

Just tried, at 18:30, two bars on an iphone, indoors. I got 40 down 2.6 up.

Just bare in mind customer service is non existent and the speeds are considerably slower EE 450mb rwg getting 35mb in exact same area and texts are being delivered 3 to 4 hrs late, overall a poor experience I cannot see this company lasting long

Will be moving to 1p mobile soon as I can! (edited)

I can`t agree about customer service, I`ve always found it very good.
Any issues/queries I have had, have always been dealt with promptly and mostly by email.

Please be aware if you go with RWG, you might want to not use it as a main phone or check it for a while first. They didn't put this anywhere on their website but they have issues with Google phones, so they say. I've completely lost service and they told me they find Google phones tend to lose signal.

However, not sure that is fair to say to be honest as I tried in 3 different phones, Google, Samsung and Motorola and they all lost the signal. I can't make calls, texts, or receive them. Basically becoming a service I can't use. Great when it did work though.

So I don't believe that to be the case. This is just what support told me.
I will likely stop using them soon, they have sent me a replacement sim to see if that makes a difference so I need to now try again lol.

Just be aware, no VOLTE, no WiFi calling (yet), no short number service and no app (yet).

Does anyone in here know the number command to increase delay before call goes to voicemail. I tried to invent several of my own commands based on other phone companies using "269" (and the longer full number version ending in 269), but it seems stuck on 20 seconds whatever I try (I want 30 secs). (edited)

I don’t think Now Mobile support the ability to modify voicemail delay times. But if they do it would have to be done through customer service I imagine.
