I have these which are 2 x 8.0ah batteries which are compatible with Ryobi and they are great. When I got them they were about £55.

YouTube teardown videos of similar copycat batteries have shown an entire disregard for honesty by these manufacturers/sellers. What you are buying is almost certain to be far less capacity, quality, lifespan and oomph than stated in the adverts and the stickers on these things. Amazon and eBay care not.

The OE batteries appear to be a rip off so I can see why people will go for the knock-offs, especially since they do actually work. It's just a case of buyer beware. (edited)

For what I've always understood to be a DIY platform, I've found Ryobi's price point for batteries has always been eye watering & a good reason to go with other platforms instead.

I’ve 3d printed a ryobi battery adapter for my makita lxt batteries. Best of both worlds

Not voting as it can get a bit cheaper than this. I picked up mine in August 23 for £53, but thay did apparently include a discount which I can't say from the invoice. Otherwise it was £61 without any discount.
Other good deals would be the 2x 4ah packs that usually come up directly on Ryobi sales.

I did say in my post that it was not the cheapest ever but cheapest on amazon within the last 6 months. You can get it cheaper on black friday or Prime Day.
