a CRACKING RTX 3060 12GB SYSTEM For sub £600.00 with the suggested booster, that beats the other comps RTX3060 systems, however the comp do have some cracking AMD 6650XT systems to consider that ive added in.

For example puposes, AWD Cheapest 3060 System starts at this price tag of £585 but via the CPU 4500, so time we build that up this spec level of 5600 we are talking a £650 system, that offers nothing against its own site firms 6650xt value deal.

PCPP Challenge, the winner is palicomp with is higher cost nvidia, and X CPU and that the AWD/Storm has the mosty tiniest of build fees in the strip down or around £25/30 which is nothing for the prebuilt market, but thats against better rated PCPP part list, 6650xt 8GB edges the RTX3060 12GB unless u get ram drunken ;P however the system by palicomp has upper standards in respect of the board being tuf and TX550, and nvidia sells better.

Now of course we do have an alt option.

5600G Vega system PC - 16GB, 480GB, 500w, A520 Tuf

  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600G - 6C / 12T
  • ASUS TUF A520M TUF
  • ADATA 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz
  • AMD Radeon Vega 7 Graphics
  • 1STPLAYER T3
  • CORSAIR TX550 (top up at £40)
  • ADATA 480GB SSD
  • MSI 6650XT at £225 from hotukdeals.

Price: 275+40+220 = £535.00
+47.50 for the 5600X within the site editor = 582.50

Great way for self install GPU's, option on the storage of boosting on site or removing and also adding ur own has been a key suggestion on this one.

the above suggestion on G/X and also has B550 booster too on site so u can get more creative then just the 6650XT, but this theme is sub £600.00 so the 6650xt and A520 boards work perfect for that theme.

Next theme: £700.00

Would something like this run games via virtual desktop for the quest 2?
    FairPriceSystems's avatar

Hi. Yes it will, but a better GPU with more power than this will be a nice have, their 3070 would be a good increase despite the lower video ram from their older deal. then after that look at the 4070 that is a boost in gpu / video ram again.

i wouldnt touch AMD cards for Quest.

Hey Sarden thanks again for another great post. Have you seen any good cpu+mobo combos? Ideally anything that can handle a recent cpu and ddr5 mobo. Ive got a gtx 3070 already. Thanks!

No deals under PCPP rates for a combo,(ones we had have gone) but best of the rest id suggest AWD mate.
if u did want the full whack with PSU n co, then look at the prebuilts ive done that are close to taste n then ask for cost without the GPU, they will do it for u. (edited)

Pretty good that, not worth building one up at that price if your not tech savvy. Heat.

ive posted some new DDR5 Systems, and then laters working on ones below. and then ive also posted a classic AM4 with a mighty 6700XT

so its upto if u want to end up in the new platform with a lower GPU, or older AM4 with a mighty GPU.

I had just started a build with a 6650xt and 5500 that came to like £530 seriously considering returning parts for this now!
    FairPriceSystems's avatar

Why not just exchange -5500 +5600 = this.

prebuilt wont beat self buiders now, that market has sailed, so we are now back to pre 2020 of my challenge of the prebuilt battle on giving value deals for non builders.

    +50 5600X to AMD RYZEN 7 5800X

Stolen from another link, the previous was a +40 for the 5600x to 5700x was a good one, but £10er more for the 5800X is very good, obvious follows market trend,

A520 Tuf VRMs are fine, but i do suggestion boosting in a 3rd party cooler like the Bequiet,

Do I need a graphics card to use a graphics/drawing tablet? If so what type do I need?
    Markoffski63's avatar
Modern Ryzen APU's with built in graphics are more than capable of handling decent graphic design gear/printing, no card required, and will even support light gaming, just have plenty of ram, 16gb minimum, and allocate 4gb in the bios to the chip graphics and your away. (edited)

Yes and for a low end system a very nice pick with the 12GB vram for the later.

If you ask this QS on google with some keyterms; "SDXL 3060 reddit" ull find users sharing their personal experience with times.

Im looking for a cheap DDR5 build. I don't need huge GPU, integrated Intel or Vega will be enough. All i need is 16-32GB ram and 1TB storage.

Not seen anything that is on the money yet.

but palicomp do have that 4070Ti i posted at £1295 or was it 1275 early in august, u can remove the GPU.
part cost to build sale is a gap of £85 though and perhaps some parts in it like the PSU is too much for a standard inntegrated.

i would speak to any firm direct when u see a nice 7600 posted and ask for the cost without the gpu directly.

    Dear Sarden84

Thank you so much for you insights and efforts.

Do you also do build suggestions for builders ie like if PCPP had the actual lowest prices from wherever - rather than listing only mid-level prices as PCPP seems to do.

Thank you again, and in advance.

Been out of the pc building arena for a decade now.
Partner needs a pc for adobe photoshop, indesign and a bit of video editing and probably some light gaming - no AAA games, things like zoo planet.
Is this kind of setup completely over the top? Are you better off getting one of the latest Intel chips with inbuilt graphics for photo and video editing?
