After our Sony 4K Bravia 55" VA LCD TV was written off by Costco I needed to find a replacement, I had 2x Sony A80J OLEDs which were great but one had bubbles under the glass and the 2nd one had sections of the antiglare coating missing.
I thought i'd try the QN90B after reading the reviews, I tried 2 of the 55", sent them back, it has the worst UI/OS I've ever experienced, Samsung TV Plus tried to take over everything, it's really difficult to just select "Terrestrial", the amount T's and C's when setting this this TV is unreal.
I found the viewing angles quite poor, lots of blooming/halos on the backlight, all 4 corners had awful vignetting it was like looking at an old CRT TV. And then the colours are just awful, it looks so artificial and unnatural, no amount of adjustment would resolve that, everything looked like a cartoon and greens etc looked fluorescent. YMMV but I have found colours to be a bit off on Samsung TV's in general. We sent these back within a couple of days and Samsung would not return our trade-in TV's, so we ended up loosing out there.
I reluctantly went for an OLED (I'd prefer a decent LCD) After the QN90B and now have a LG C2 which we are really happy with so far!
