Great price for an amazing phone.
Hardly any difference between this and the z fold 5, aside from the price. (edited)

Oh and the selfie camera in the inner screen is truly invisible

Ordered one from giffgaff yesterday . They are delivering today, so let's see.

Went for very green . Just received TBH confused with the condition. The bigger display is pristine, but normal wear and tear around the bezel and outer display. Apart from that, there is no original box. Just cable and sim pin. I have just gambled, TBH, as it's a 21-day return . If you don't like it, you can always send us back

I wouldn't by a zfold phone unless it's in pristine condition, high chance Samsung won't fix any issues under warranty (especially the inner screen) unless it's in pristine condition.

I have bought previously from this seller Flip3 with dead pixels and the screen was replaced by Samsung under warranty without any issues.

@MrSwitch someone has offered me £675 for a pristine model (no box, but original inner screen protector). bargain?
    hcc27's avatar
Hmm might as well play the Giffgaff "good" lottery once and see where you land. For £650 you'll get a one year Giffgaff guarantee on top of the remaining Samsung guarantee.

    Looks proper battered

Not sure about Humptydp, but I got the Giffgaff £650 deal for a "good" phone a few months ago which arrived essentially brand new (not a scratch or any other signs of use anywhere) with a mid-2024 Samsung warranty expiry. I will never go back to a standard form factor.

It's still available, down to £629. Of course, your mileage may vary - a few on here received phones with some signs of use graded "good" but the consensus was you stood a better chance of receiving a pristine phone if you went for "good" over other gradings.

Nearly 600 for a battered phone. Why is this hot? Obviously it's cheap look at the condition🙈

I have spoken to the seller before, he told me there were deep scratches on a 7/10 😳

Loved my Z Fold 3 but the outer screen was just a little too small to use as a normal phone which meant I had to open it to do practically anything which I didn't want. The honor magic v2 seems to have managed it, just need samsung to catch up!

I have the fold 4 and agree. Samsung are just too slow due to little global competition. The Chinese market is where innovation is happening.

I just bought one of these for similar reduction. Unit arrived without a box but in far better condition than expected. I would have placed it as excellent. The description is certainly expectation management

Incredible phone for showing off. Moee that a 1080p tablet when unfolded.
    Giffgaff price looks a bargain.

This seller or from giffgaff? (edited)
    hicks12's avatar
I would go giffgaff, while not guaranteed they do seem to be Conservative with their grading so plenty of ones in mint condition being sold as "good". You get 21 day returns and depending on the grade you get up to 2 year warranty separate to samsungs warranty.

Just got the Fold 4 yesterday (contract for £40 a month for 2 years). It's® good, but the front screen is narrow and the material isn't as nice as Pixel 5. Saying that, I love the fold option and it is great at home but not sure if the phone is practical when out and about?

Haven't taken it out much but as it's summer, i'm in shorts and the phones quite big - i'm quite worried about it getting knocked about a bit.

Would love to hear peoples experience with this phone when out and about.

    Thanks

It’s only 700 new at mobile phones direct

200 upfront then 32 a month for 24 months for unlimited data sim

so assume sim is worth 12 a month, minimum

thats 20 a month, so 500, plus the 200 upfront

Depends if you normally use an unlimited data tariff, or don't have a 'social' tariff. If on cheaper contract then the phone is effectively more expensive.

I got this deal and am very happy with the phone. Description was fair. Thanks for posting MrSwitch! (edited)
