This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
As an example Stranraer to Kyle of Lochalsh
Prices £132 to £216 drops to £17.
So with the £15 for the railcard you immediately save at least £100.
The £17 offer runs a couple of times a year & its possible to use on open ended returns so you can get entire round trip journeys (you've done already) at the offer price but outwith the offer times.
It also offers 20% off lower priced off peak trains & 50% off hot & cold drinks on the train.

But only for one calendar month from the date of the outbound ticket - so this is still slightly limiting!
Only 130 months until you get a bus pass too!
Many years ago when I was at university in England, Carlisle often counted in Scottish offers.
Weirdly tickets to Glasgow on the west coast line are sometimes cheaper than Lockerbie (the first stop used often). (edited)
Just get two tickets... (edited)
HS2 will never reach Scotland.
It's a "look what we've got" rather than service for the majority.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. HS2 is of little use to most places in England too, even those on the route, unless they are regular travellers to the 'centre of the universe'. (edited)
@Auther2 Club50 offer now active - 7th March > 1st May ......£12 and not £17!
Sadly
Can I use Club 50 offers to travel to or from Carlisle?
No, Club 50 is only valid between stations in Scotland. Services to or from Carlisle, Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed are not included in the offer as these stations are not in Scotland. (edited)
Although apparently the deals from Lockerbie to Manchester Airport are pretty good!
Strangely the cheapest ticket from Manchester Airport to Glasgow was normally Manchester to Oxenholme then Oxenholme to Glasgow.
But I doubt if adding in an additional £17 would lower that, although its likely 20% off the Lockerbie Glasgow run might make a difference.
No, the ticket goes with the rail card & you can also be asked for proof of age. (edited)
Just under 10 months for me too
They send you the link once you sign up & it applies to about 99% of tickets mentioned over £17 while the offer runs.
It doesn't show the £17 price if using the ScotRail app, but does show the normal discount.
It's about 6 weeks to 2 months it runs each time.
Mine lapsed during covid, but I'll sign up again & take you through the process once I find my credit card.
I'll start posting deals for incontinence knickers
😁😁😁😁😁
In my day it was estate agents did pads!
😁😁😁
@Auther2 I don't suppose you've heard when the £17 deal might be ? I
Most of the cheap tickets use a single operator end to end.
Three different TOCs - Scotrail, Avanti West Coast and TransPennine Express,
Yip so I see. Good deal if you are traveling between these dates. 🏻
Thought it would have been stone they used in ur day, not pads (edited)
Running now until May & price dropped to £12 for tickets (but still £15 for the card).
It is available in England.
But it's trains in Scotland it covers. (edited)
