sorted by£25 pm instead of £75. All movies & Sports.
Made up very cheap
Yep extactly! I only signed up in April and now I feel like I am getting ripped off!!
Then quit! They are a business. They aren't going to offer you a deal if you just sit and do nothing. Why would they? That would eat into profit margins etc. You wouldn't if you ran a company.
If you do nothing it implies you are happy with your deal. If you cancel you will get a better deal. They will try their best to keep you.
Im not a fan of sky but same goes for Virgin - always get better deals than new customers when my existing one ends.
I also took out the family pack with 50% off for the year using the code GET5KY50, the deal also included a 2TB box, a 32" LG TV and I managed to get £120 cashback. I sold the TV for £100, leaving -£4. (this was taken out as a new customer also - different name to the phone deal but same address)
so all in all. It is costing me £2 for TV, 2TB Box, Phone, Broadband and Line rental
Not a bad deal

As far as I'm aware, you can't have had any Sky services at your property within the last 12 months to qualify as a new customer. As you're already a Sky broadband customer, you wouldn't qualify.
Search 'kodi fire stick' in a search engine and you will find web pages after web pages on how to sideload kodi.

Yes it will. Just do it every 12 months cycling between both of you
OK so I just need to ditch Sky for 12 months then sign up as a new customer to get a good deal. Sky lose 12 months rental and then another 12 months at a reduced rate + the cost of a new box. I believe it would be more profitable for Sky to offer me a slightly lower price now.
Your example is different. If I bought something from a shop every month and they started to sell it cheaper to other people I would not want to keep paying the higher price. I understand it's a contract but out of contract why would I continue to pay the higher price. To have a customer base that thinks this way is ridiculous.
Very true, however I cancelled recently and during the cancellation period I have negotiated a 12 month contract for 60% off and £150 credit in my account.
Therefor I am getting sky sports and the original package for £18.80 per month (should be £47) but I don't pay anything until the £150 credit is used up.
Works out over the 12 months at around £6.30 per month for sports and original
Not a bad deal imo
But yes they do screw existing customers over and It wasn't easy getting the deal that I got

I'd cancel my TV package with Virgin, and landline if I wasn't using that too, get a retention deal on broadband only and move to Sky on one of their 50% deals or the Complete Package, Sports, Movies, HD and box sets for £25pm.
I currently pay £21.50 for 50Mb/s Virgin BB only (some have it for as little as £18.50). If you wanted to keep the landline it'd be about another fiver pm on top.
Here's a link for 50% for switching Virgin customers. The link for Complete Bundle for £25pm can be found above.

How does that fit with the Ts & Cs:
£25 Complete Bundle Offer: .....You must have been a non-Sky TV subscriber for at least 12 consecutive months at the time of taking up the New Customer discount. Discounts are not available to members of the same household where a Sky TV subscription has been cancelled within 30 days unless a home move has taken place.
Depends who is doing it. If I was doing it for you it would be about 8 minutes. Took the dope I had about 45.
No, pay no attention.
Yeh, you can.
you can call Currys/PC World for this deal.

I was on O2 Broadband when Sky bought them out, now paying £15 a month just for ADSL - mean to switch to something better.
Officially the Telephone line rental is with BT and on my Dad's name but the Broadband is from Sky and I pay that. So could we switch everything to my dad's name for the 12 months and sort out something better next year?
Not via Currys PC World, as far as I'm aware. Although you should be able to join on the CPCW package and then call Sky to upgrade once installed? Sky Fibre is £10pm for 25GB or £20pm for unlimited.

Sky have put their prices up twice since I've been a customer though, and I think they're planning on doing it again. Fortunately the increases get pro rata'd to your package.
What's the best broadband for xmbc
this deal is much better as you do need to rely on cash back and vouchers.
can u cancel that with sky (its not installed until next week)? and sign up to this as a new customer?
