Details

Experience next generation picture and sound on the XR-65X90K BRAVIA XR™ Full Array LED TV.

4K Full Array LED

See the world as you do in real-life – on your television. With a matrix of LED backlights behind the entire screen, you’ll be in awe of the incredibly life-like contrast and colour in every scene on this Full Array LED TV.

XR 4K Upscaling

Every detail is enhanced on this 4K TV – even 2K and HD content is upscaled closer to 4K quality with our XR 4K Upscaling technology.

XR Triluminos Pro

The colours are truly spectacular, thanks to our widest ever colour palette, XR Triluminos Pro™.

Ambient Optimisation

To ensure you’re always getting the best view, our Ambient Optimisation technology uses a light sensor to automatically adjust the brightness of your screen, based on how much light is in your room. It automatically optimises the sound too.

Acoustic Center Sync

For full sensory immersion, the sound precisely matches the action on-screen. Our Acoustic Multi-Audio™ technology uses sound positioning tweeters to ensure each sound comes from exactly the right place in the scene.

Acoustic Multi-Audio

All your movies, TV shows, games, and music, will be upscaled and given the surround sound treatment - without the need for additional speakers!

3-way multi-position stand

For ultimate flexibility and style, our premium multi-position stand is designed to fit any space, including wide and narrow furniture surfaces. You can even use the soundbar position to keep your sound system neatly tucked underneath.

Flush Surface

The TV features our minimalist One Slate design to maximise your entertainment - the bezel is so narrow, you’ll be naturally immersed in what you’re watching, not what’s around it.

Auto Low Lacency Mode

Perfect for PlayStation®5 and other consoles, gamers are primed for the win on this 65-inch TV. Ultra-responsive, smooth gameplay is made possible with our specialist technologies, including Auto Low Latency Mode in HDMI 2.1 and a Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).

Auto HDR Tone Mapping

You’ll be able to see the crucial details in the darkest and brightest parts of the screen, thanks to our Auto HDR Tone Mapping, which is automatically optimised during PS5™ set-up.

Auto Genre Picture Mode

You won’t need to worry about adjusting your settings as you switch between different types of entertainment either - Auto Genre Picture Mode does all the hard work for you!

Google TV

Access 700,000+ movies and TV episodes – organised to suit your interests – on this Google TV. You can even set aside the remote and use the built-in Voice Search to find new entertainment and control your other smart home devices.

Bravia Core

Our exclusive streaming service, BRAVIA CORE, is also included on the XR-65X90K, with hundreds of movies waiting for you.

How does the above compare with OLED?
    Seems a bit pricey. :/

Not as good as oled but best fald Led Sony make now. Apart from the 95 range but that's mini led and costs way more.

Would love for the 50" 90SU (also K series) to get a deal one of these days 😔

is this a big upgrade from the X90J which I got?
    mej24's avatar
As far as I know, it’s not a big upgrade in terms of picture quality. 90J got better local dimming. But if you are gaming 90K is better.

Anyone know if richer sounds would price match this? I have credit only at richer sounds to try and find a 65 inch or above TV

Voted hot. I was looking at this when it was 1.6k! I got the KD65XH9505BU model 2 years older and that’s been excellent. (edited)
