Sony's premium true wireless noise cancelling ear-buds have been further refined with the WF-1000XM4, for even more superior noise cancellation, and stunning Sony sound. They support Hi-Res Audio for studio-quality listening, and Precise Voice Pickup technology for clearer hands-free calls. Lasting for up to 24 hours of noise-cancelled music with the included charging carry case, they can be voice-controlled, and are also IPX4-rated water-resistant to withstand the rigours of active lives.

Truly wireless listening
With two independent ear-buds fitting comfortably and securely in your ears, not a single wire gets in your way. Feel the inspiring freedom of truly wire-free listening.

Superior noise cancellation
Sony's integrated Processor V1, together with specially developed drivers with improved performance, mean supreme Sony sound and noise cancellation, so you can fully focus on the music. Together with precision designed noise-sensing microphones as well as innovative Noise Isolation earbud tips, the WF-1000XM4 cancel out more noise than ever.

Hi-Res Audio Wireless
With LDAC technology, the WF-1000XM4 support High Resolution Audio, so music sounds as the artists & producers intended. Compressed music files are upscaled too with Sony's DSEE Extreme technology, for a richer and more complete audio experience.

Precise Voice Pick-up for clearer calls
Beamforming microphones and a bone-conduction sensor allow the WF-1000XM4 to pick up the voice with clarity and accuracy, for reliably clear hands-free calls, wherever you are.

Google Assistant & Alexa built in
Combining high-quality sound with the convenience of voice control, the WF-1000XM4 have both Google Assistant and Alexa built in. So you can play music, hear the news, control smart home devices, get answers to questions, and more, just by talking to your earbuds.

Multi-Bluetooth connection
For total convenience, these headphones can be paired with two Bluetooth devices at the same time. So when a call comes in, your headphones know which phone is ringing and connects to the right one automatically (firmware update may be required).

Up to 24-hour battery life
With noise cancelling on, they'll last for up to 8 hours from a single charge, with the included charging case carrying enough power for a further 16 hours. It's even longer with NC switched off; 12 hours from a full charge, with a further 36 in the case.

IPX4 Water-resistant
Rated IPX4 for water-resistance, the WF-1000XM4 are durable enough to fit in with your active life, resisting moisture, splashes and sweat.

When you buy these, make sure you check for a metallic pinging sound particularly during podcasts/human speech. Happened to me but too late to return 😪

Any idea where to get a replacement for foam tips? Great ear buds but pain to get genuine sony tips

I use these. Only complaint would be they don't last amazingly long. But you get an offer for a free box with your first order, and a money back guarantee if you don't get on with them so I would say they are definitely worth a go:-

Also, I think Sony might offer replacements under the warranty? (Not sure on this though.) (edited)

Is it worth getting these over the headphones?

I replaced my B&W Pi7 with these and much prefer them. Great earbuds.

Just got these. They seem huge for my small ears. Anyone else find they're a bit bulky? The case is much smaller than the older ones which I like

People with smaller ears often have this complaint about buds like these. I have quite large ears (here I think the relevant part is that bit of the ear where the main body of the earbud sits, rather than the ear canal itself) so they fit quite snuggly in my ears, but definitely what you have highlighted is the one (potential) negative I highlight when I recommend these to anyone.

Even I have had to learn to position them so that they are not fully rotated towards the back of my head (ie anticlockwise for right, clockwise for left). Otherwise, I get a pressure point in one ear after 30 mins.

Will be interesting to see if anyone has any tips (pun intended ) that may help, or whether this is just an unchangeable fact that people with smaller ears have to bear in mind. (edited)
