I've just tried the code and it worked for me?

Coupon no longer valid, and Air Purifier has now been replaced by a coffee machine.

They were this price in JL not that long ago so not really a "great" price. Excl the air purifier of course, but I assume you could live without that unless you're on the baked beans diet during lockdown.

Interesting issue. Never had anything like that with mine for the 18ish months I've had them. Any more info or links on this issue?

Thought so. I’ve been watching them a while. Prefer them in black, but bought them in blue today due to the first price drop in ages and I really needed a pair

I got them in black in a black Friday deal.

Forgot to mention Dad wanted to return them because they aren’t great for multiple devices. They have an annoying trait of connecting back to the last used device when you turn them on. I thought he was talking crap but it’s true. You have to hunt down the last connect device and go to setting to hit disconnect before you can connect on the next device. I’m only using on Mac, iPhone and Lenovo tab 4 so it’s manageable, but would be a pain if you had the max 8 registered devices in play.

Ordered these from John Lewis but they never turned up. But dad bought from Currys at same time and wanted to return them. Bought them off him for £90 to save him the hassle of returning. Impressed with sound quality and they’re pretty good for work conference calls too. Agree with other comments that the noise cancelling is worth having but doesn’t blow you away. Battery life is very good and they seem solid. Some reviews mention creaking in the frame when you move your head but I haven’t noticed this. Also some bloggers have suggested these are better overall than the newer CH710.

I am sure I seen these in sainsbury cheap, can't rember price though.

Surprisingly, it is the ambient sound that has become incredibly useful for me. The ANC on the Sony buds is amazing, but the ability to let voices in when I need it is incredibly useful.

Have a pair of these for flights - superb at the price. They fold flat to a vary small size and can be stored in any cloth bag for packing into hand luggage. I always remove the battery when not in use to avoid the on/off switch accidentally turning on and running the battery flat.

Say again!

i love these. these are the earbuds (and headphones) i use everyday. is the sound coloured? yes! are these the loudest ear buds ever made probably. Great for dance music. i also own sony wf-1000x. ok as long as you don't move and i don't get the need for such transparent sound like these and the newer wf-1000xm3 as they only support low resolution codecs mp3/aac so you get maximum sound quality to listen to all the warts of low rez codecs. this why i prefer the WF-SP700NB's as they masked a lot of the crappiness of the supported codecs. i own sony wh-1000xm3's too but i cannot wear these for exercise or when it's warm as they end up a sweaty mess on my ears. Avoid WF-900N too. these are the worst sony headphones ever made. SONY MY MONEY IS HERE WAITING FOR LDAC EARBUDS

Note: Some products are classified as 'in-warranty exchange' (IWX) because they are not economic to repair. This includes the majority of portable audio products and accessories. If you read up on these there are so many complaints on sound cutting out and the buds loosing connection sporadically. Some get on fine with them but I suspect these are cheap due to the issues most have with them. Also the battery life is pretty poor. As others said, xm3's are the ones to go for

Doubt they sound as good as the Campfires. (devil)

I did do a video call over messenger as I had a quick walk around my local park for some fresh air yesterday. Walked past the play ground where there was a few few screaming kids playing (so much for lockdown). I could still hear the person I was talking to fine and they could hear me no problem. Noise cancellation didn't work as much though as I could hear the screaming kids as well.

Off topic, I’ve recent purchased Sony headphones that have stopped working after 40 days. How do I reach out to Sony to try and get them fixed? Can’t work out how from their guarantee / website

But have you tried using them on calls around lots of background noise (e.g on the street, train, around a barking dog)? That is the real test and likely why people report issues

Does it not have a mic? I have the version of these without noise cancelling and that has a mic. Would be weird for these not to. But I can't find any mention of a mic on any website either... How strange.

That is really tempting, thanks. But I'm hoping for the refurbished ones to come back in stock from there for £69. I got the WF-1000XM3 from there a good few months ago for £129 and they were practically in brand new condition.

Is the noise cancelling on this better than mpow/soundcore?

Doesn't have a mic, all the reviews say it over-emphasises the bass at the expense of mid and highs. Good price, but not for me.

No they’re great headphones. I just haven’t used them nearly anywhere near as much as I thought I would. I often just used my AirPod pros

Not impressed?

Heat. Ordered. Arrived. Happy. I normally get the Sony wired ones for £10 and beef them up a bit to cope with the rigours of my falling asleep with them in in bed. I got fed up of the Sennheiser ones only lasting a few weeks for £30-£40 a pop. I will give these the same treatment and see how they least I won't be dragging my phone off the bedside table and onto the floor with them. If you're interested "beefing them up" means supergluing the wires into the earpods and adding a strain relief sleeve of some description... Sometimes gel glue, sometimes a tiny spring...I'm going to order some proper strain reliefs and split them this time. Incidentally the Sony wired ones last me about 6 months...I think the issue with the Sennheisers was the rubbery wires binding up as I twisted them rolling over in bed through the night.

Cheap and unreliable. Not worth the hassle. Cold.

I had these once and found they fell out easily due to lop-sided weight

I've had 3 pairs of these. The sound is pretty good for the price, but they break really easily. All 3 lost sound in one side within a few months. Got tired of replacing them in the end and got something else.

I have them. Use them when I'm running. Good sound and stay in the ears while exercising. Bought mine from Amazon Warehouse about 3 years ago. I think they have a fault. When I put them on charge and use them straight afterwards I have no problems. However, if I leave them a week without using them after a charge they are flat. That includes both buds and carry case. It's almost like they are 'on' even when they say they are off. Not sure if it's a common fault or just my pair. Of course I should have returned them but I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt and thinking I maybe hadn't say them in their charger right. Now I'm sure. Still perfectly usable but I'm waiting for the newer version to come down in price before I pass them onto the kids.

I bought a pair from Amazon warehouse in Italy. Firmware update didn't solve the continual disconnects despite the 1m distance between phone and buds. The Italian postal system and Amazon Italy were painfully slow when I sent them back.

I bought these when they came out, sound is fine, but they need to resync between earbuds all the time causing drop outs, then you have blinking leds either side of your head while it is happening. Honestly I wouldn't use these if I was given them free, gave mine away a few months ago as I tried holding onto them for a firmware update to fix the syncing issue, for the last year or two but nothing ever seemed to work.

Don't confuse these for the wf-1000xm3 models that are more expensive and have higher ratings.

Awesome sound but as mentioned, does drop out at times and poor battery life. Better connection since recent software update. I think they are a good deal at this price. 🔥

Having had the chance to use these buds for a while, I can say they are absolutely amazing. The sound is vibrant, spacious, and responsive across the entire range. The noise cancelling is like voodoo. I've paired them with my Pixel 2 XL, my Surface Pro 6, and my 9 year old desktop. They perform great across all three devices, and switch easily between them. I've seen a lot of people complain about pairing issues, and the ONE thing you must be aware of is to have your buds in your ears when entering them into pairing mode. The only other thing to be aware of is to update the FW immediately. This also works better if you keep the buds in during this process. I may get comply buds just to see if they make a difference.

Currys will price match the 153.99 price. I have just done it with and they honoured it.

Just had a look today but they've gone up to £130 now, but keep checking daily as the price fluctuates

I recently bought used - very good. Came as described with a slightly damaged box, but the phones and case are pristine.

Awesome sound. By far the best of any buds. Great ANC. Only problem is crap for calls but that's because of the way the mic works. If you can put up with that, then you won't be disappointed. 🔥🔥🔥

Old model that I got from Sony as a refurb for £75 about 2 years ago so definitely not worth this price.

3 year old TWS earbuds, no thanks. They might have been some of the best around three years ago but the market for this style has moved in leaps and bounds since then and it seems like these have their fair share of problems including connection and battery issues. You'll probably get a better experience from a £30 pair of new TWS earbuds than these.

Bought this, terrible large scratch on charging box and clearly been used.

Turned up as described, box was slightly damaged. Clearly been taken out of the box and played around with though, but no marks/scuffs on the case or buds

Can't get it to work unfortunately. It's one phone or the other, kicks the connected one off. I'll be hanging onto them though, really like them. Maybe I'll just sit with my fingers crossed that multipoint is a firmware update away and Sony get it added at a later date...

Interesting thanks. Do let everyone know if you find it works. My Bose Revolve bluetooth speaker has it and it works perfectly. Just want the same in buds form.
