    As in buying clothes?

Yes, just whip off your undies, look at the label and that will tell you which one to order

Good bike, quite a few people convert them into Specialized Diverge Gravel bikes by adding drop bars and road bike shifters. I wonder if this could be done using GRX400 shifter somehow?

The GRX400 shifter is part of the Shimano road component range so won't play nicely with the Deore M4120, even though they are both 10speed . You would need to change shifters and rear derailleur but the RD-RX400 derailleur is rated to a maximum 36t largest cog on the cassette and this comes with am 11-42 cassette.
That derailleur might work ok, you can often go outside of these max limits with no issues, i.e. short cage derailleurs will work fine with 30t and sometimes 32t (bike and chainset dependant) but are rated to max 28t

Absolute BARGAIN at that price if you're teeny-tiny and it'll fit you!

10 speed Deore with a wide range, hydraulic brakes etc

The only Specialized bike I own is a Specialized Sirrus but that is when it was a road bike. Strange to re-purpose the same name for a completely different type of bike.

Specialized Sirrus has been a range of bikes for a long time, not all of them are road bikes. For example, the Specialized Sirrus Sport is a flat-bar hybrid that's been around for maybe twenty years now.

I'm not knowledgable enough to tell if that predates the bike in your picture, but from the hoods I am going to guess ... maybe! (edited)

    Beautiful bike.

I’m a bit out of touch with the current bike market in terms of prices, but this seems a great price.
And with it being a 1x10, it means there’s no front derailleur to be a pain in the backside.
    Heat from me.

This is exactly the type of thing I go for. Really looks lovely. Just glad it's not in XL - I have enough bikes

Still got my Specialized Globe Centrum, love it. Simple bikes are the best ones.

That’s a superb bike and spec

This is sort of a gravel bike with straight bars. Nice bargain. I already have a Sirrus with a Shimano 105 which is sort of an all-road bike with straight bars, otherwise I'd get this in a flash.
[edit]: Only XXS available? Damn (edited)

How does this compare to a Vitus Nucleus VRS?

One is a hybrid and one is a mountain bike.

Folk who have this already….what’s your thoughts on terms the terrain it’s ok on? About 7 months ago I changed jobs to be closer to home and been biking in a lot but my route is a combination of road, cycle paths that are tarmac but seen better days with other debris, gravel tracks through a local reservoir and park then grass/compacted mud through some fields that back onto our house.

bike to work scheme is open at work and after originally thinking about a gravel bike i’m now thinking something like this with flat bars instead of drop bars is a better option. Some seem to have front suspension and others are like this. Just not sure if one like this would be ok to the route I take which is both on and off road. Seem to get more for your money on these types, hydraulic disk brakes on gravel bikes you are well over £1000 for starters!!

I don't have this bike but from the route you describe, I'd say this is a good choice. I'd think front suspension at this price point will just add unnecessary weight to the bike.
Should be an easy bike to maintain and service. If you are a capable mechanic or know someone that is, I'd suggest dropping the forks and putting more grease around the headset bearings. I've yet to work on a new bike that has had anywhere near enough grease here for my liking.
Tyre choice and inflation pressure will be key for you. A bit of a balancing act between minimising rolling resistance on the road sections and providing enough grip so you are not slipping on the off-road sections.

I've got a Sirrus X 2021 model, I think I paid £679 last year; I really love it for canal tow path and hard pack routes, it's not bad on the road, not as quick as a road bike but probably a bit more comfortable. There's no suspension but the fat tyres soak up some of the bumps.

The pedals that come with it are a bit rubbish so plan on replacing those if you choose this bike, I decided to put some ergonomic grips on as well. Overall, very pleased with this bike and would recommend for sure.
