    Well worth the money, these aren't the same as the old type. They have to steel clamps which you place in each side of a steering wheel 'spoke' This means that the quickest way to remove it is to saw/ cut through the steerin wheel in two places unlike the older/ cheaper version which you would only have to saw once. Also the actual lock is much better quality.

    It won't stop a proft thief but it will slow them down or make them move on to an easit target.

    How old is the "old type"? I've had mine 20 years, it has the 2 steel clamps

    I have the elite version of this for the Mrs car, very sturdy but honestly the pro is probably better as the elite feels to big for the car in a way due to being deeper set and doesn't fit as well paid 60 in Halfords the other day or I'd a got this 🤦

    HOT deal OP.....I bought the cheapo Halfords Tueasday at 14.99 as an emergency buy after thugs stopped my 4x4 punched me up, then cleared off with the keys as i defended an L200....police took 4 hours to turn out to 999.... waste of space.........they wonder why no one has tie for them......when my new keys are all re programmed to the steering lock will deffo come in useful in the cab...... Wink, wink.........

    I've got one I use when I'm parking the car in unfamiliar places or car parks. As others have said, won't stop a determined thief but might put them off my car
