If your child has ADHD then this video is very much worth watching by one of the worlds experts.

@gaz12000. Thank you, sir, for posting that link. As you MAY have noticed in my response to Boz, the original poster, it's not directly applicable to myself, but I do have friends that have a child with ADHD. Undoubtedly, as they've been 'dealing' with this for a number of years now they MAY well already know most, if not all, of what Dr. Barkley is saying, but it's, at least, another 'weapon' in their arsenal.

Thank you, Boz. Not directly applicable to me, but I've got friends that have a child with ADHD who MAY find it useful. Mind you, that MIGHT mean me loaning them my Kindle as I'm not sure that they have one. (The dad's a computer whiz, so they MAY already have a Kindle as he knows a lot about computers, but who knows?)

They can download the kindle app on their mobile device and download it themselves if they have an Amazon account. That's what I do.

If your child has ADHD then you probably have it too (or the other parent).

Delivered from Distraction is a good book about ADHD, there are a lot of books but no idea how many are actually good, not worth skimping on this sort of thing. (edited)

Yeah that's how I found out, looking up symptoms for my daughter's behaviour. Then I looked at my parents and realised my Dad has it

Discovering you have ADHD is a curse, it's like a kid falling over and hurting themselves and being fine. Only to pull up their trouser leg to see blood then cry.

Guess that's why I never want to find out if I have it or not.. but I suspect I do just don't see the point in pigeon holing it if I can manage myself
