Good price and from a reputable brand. Also prefer this type of TV stand (edited)

Well they're now manufactured by Vestel, been for years, with a new partnership on the books with Hisense as well. Toshiba ceased to be a Japanese brand years ago.

Not a bad price, but the newer UK4D series has seen a significant step up in PQ and reliability, so much so that both JL and Costco have started offering them. Try to find one of those if you can The UK5D QLED models are fantastic PQ wise

I have the 55, it’s a good / ok TV for picture and sound, but the interface is very slow and frustrating.

I don't know if anything has changed now but I have two Toshiba TVs, one is 9 years old while the other is 3 years old and both have very low audios even at maximum settings. It does not bother me at all but I could see some people needing some form of external audio outputs.
    chancooluk's avatar
The new ones have significantly better audio, both in loudness and depth.

This TV as reviewed is pretty good anyone got any thoughts on comparable performance of this TV?

Went for this as wanted to bundle it up with a soundbar.
Remote response is so so slow but thankfully use a firestick.
