These are mostly fine but be aware that if you use any devices that draw large amounts of power when they first come on, these plugs will inevitably fail after 3-6 months with stuck relays.

When this happens you will find that the plug never goes into the 'off' state. A common device that will cause this is an AVR e.g. Denon/Onkyo receiver. Don't bother using one of these plugs with such devices. (edited)

Exact situation I’m dealing with just now, and was a Denon AVR I had connected too.

I've nothing against these because I've the p110. I think people should consider smartplugs that adopt the latest Matter protocol going forward. they're quite expensive atm. they'll get cheaper with time. someone without these can go for them because they're cheaper but the Matter ones are the future. wishlisted Meross Matter with energy monitoring already

Sorry I’ve never heard of Matter protocol, does it just monitor power usage?

Whenever I see this brand, I can't help but remember this from Beavis & Butthead. (edited)

Of all the Smart devices I own (and I have a few) the Tapo app and therefore the "smart" aspect of the devices is the most unreliable.

I find the Tapo app a bit annoying because it never reads the status of all the plugs when you first open it, I have to pull to refresh every time. Fortunately I never have to use it becase they work great under Home Assistant.
