Are there any stands which work similarly to a 'switch dock' for your laptop?

E.g., a stand similar to this but connects to a display port USBC/HDMI when you dock it

No idea if this exists but would save me fiddling with cables if it does

There are… but not overly common.

    amzn.eu/d/e…Ap8 for example.

Do you take your laptop out of the stand every time you want to turn it on or is there a way/setting to avoid it?

if it's a mac, the act of reconnecting the power cable seems to turns it on (works at least for usb c), so it could be a switched plug solution
