Looking for a hybrid for £200. never had a 7 Speed before though.
Any thoughts on this gearing and this price range pls? (edited)

Large thread on this. Bought one. You need to replace handlebar grips, seat and brakes. Handlebars are very low, so if you are a relaxed cyclist (more upright), you'll also need a riser

I've just looked on the Vitus manufacturers website, and quoted sizing is a bit different to that used on the Wiggle/CRC websites.

If you are on the borderline of 5'10 ish, it seems it's pot luck whether to go for a medium or large (Wiggle/CRC websites suggest a medium, manufacturers suggest large)

That sizing table is a bit dodgy, metric and imperial sizes are well different. Since when was 5ft11 193cm. 5ft9 is actually more like 175cm not 181 too

Brakes aren't the sharpest. Low geared I find, as a racing cyclist. However its great for a relatively relaxed commute around 15-16mph. I went for a large at 5'11.

Thanks. Out of interest, are the tyres tubed or tubeless? (guessing tubed, but there's no mention anywhere) (edited)

Hmmm very tempting. But do I need it and will it go lower?

Tempted by the price but looking at the reviews shows the weight of the small is 12.5kg and that the sizing is on the small side, people who got a medium needed a large. I would normally need a large so don't fancy that if it comes up small plus will probably weigh over 13kg and need the brakes changed....

Yep. Most reviewers have mentioned the brakes are useless and need to replaced for circa £50 ish.

Bought this at the previous sale price and it’s an absolute bargain.

Think you also need to add £19.99 for delivery, should be put in the title
