    I bought this one a few months ago. Even paired with a 5ah battery, it wasn't great even for DIY use. Wished I got the brushless version (edited)

    Got an evolution for DIY which is pretty good to be honest.
    Out of interest, does this have a compatible rail?

    I would certainly consider an upgrade as all my other kit dewalt and like the idea of cordless!

    I think George means the crappy little bent bit of metal that slots into the saw base. I think replicant means an actual track. This saw isn't made for a track, doesn't have the guide indentations for one.

    Invaluable bit of kit, I feel hard done by if I need to get out a corded saw these days .
    Needs a 4a/h for any significant cutting
