Wonder if there are android updates for it, seeing as it's on 5.1.

It's powered by a Snapdragon 615 processor - that's the one that's known to run pretty hot (not Samsung toasty though).
Apart from the heat issues, it's a good performer, the same processor as the Moto X play.

I've had a bad experience from buying a ZTE phoen from China. Really poor build quality, incorrectly flashed so that it was prone to boot up loops. Camera was also very poor. Was ages ago though.

Then again, the phone I bought was like a beast of a phone, very solid, it's taken a lot of knocks and been using it for over three years now.

For comparison I bought an Ulefone Paris recently and it fell apart in a few months. The screen was stuck on with glue, although I did knock it.

zte make the Vodafone su6 which is good for value but mine didn't last much more than a year before the screen packed up and connection issues on Bluetooth but I believe this is a better phone quality wise ??

Got an Axon7, great phone so they are capable of making a decent phone. The old version of android would be a worry.
