    Bushmills Malt by miles !

Not the cheapest but the best ! Jamesons is ok with a drop of water for a blended . Paddy and Tullamore Dew are just about drinkable if you have fireproof tastebuds .

Redbreast 12 is an excellent dram, Green Spot is very well balanced, and I do like the Connemara peated for a fuller flavour.
I find Bushmills 10 nice, but with a slightly rough edge - the 16 is delightful, but 3 times the price!

I would go with Connemara but dyor, masters of malt is a great website for research.

I'll second Redbreast 12, what about the more obscure Dead Rabbit or Blacktail?
Powers is a poor mans drink, Yellow spot anyone? Oh and of course it has to be Bushmills 21 year single malt, so smooth! I'd drink th 30 yo stuff, but it's £185 a shot!
