October Humble Choice : Katana Zero, John Wick, Amensia, Syberia 3, Guts & Glory and more - £11.99 @ Humble Bundle
Posted 5th OctPosted 5th Oct
The October choices are here, if you fancy them. Hope it helps someone.

I'm constantly skipping months. Absolutely rubbish for at least a year or more now. I'm all for supporting charity but I rarely like indie games.

Good god

I have only subbed one month at a time once or twice... Remember doing Kingdom come deliverance once... Them cancel right away

By jumping through multiple hoops and casting a demonic incantation. Or 'manage account' if you cant be arsed with the demonoic stuff, hoops remain.

I think they could have saved this bundle by including something like borderlands 3. Wasn’t asking much.

Yup usually. Spend a fortune on graphics cards and monitor to get 144+fps and 1440p and end up having to limit my card to 60fps to play most of the games I want to play. XD

because they are trying reallllllly hard to entice people over to spend money on their game store (that and paying for epic store "exclusives". there are plenty of free games on Steam, just that Steam doesn't make a song and dance over them (and granted, they're rarely of the quality that epic store buys in) , it's down to the devs/pubs to make games free.. steam doesn't need to do it as they are already the market leader by a considerable margin. if you want a decently priced set of games on the reg, subscribe to the likes of humble choice.

Got both on GoG. Now added to Steam. Ta.

Syberia I is rated bronze for Linux Proton compatibility (some ini file fiddling and stuck in a small 800x600 window!), but Syberia II is rated platinum, so works out of the box on Linux Proton. I've claimed them both and will stick them in my growing unplayed queue (not helped by Fanatical's cheap bundles they're churning out at the moment!) ready for when I get my Steam Deck in Q1 2022...

Nice one OP! Been looking at these but couldn't decide.

Might be missing something here, but I can't seem to add the two games to my account. Maybe expired?

Oscar was a bit annoying.

Thanks I will claim these and never get round to playing them

These any good ?

So sad Benoît passed away. His games have a special unique old world flavour. Apart from Syberia 3 they all reviewed well.

Love this series. RIP Benoît Sokal ;(

Heatttt ,cheers loved these on the Xbox original.. Just got them for my little girl to experience 💪💪💪

You are correct ,i was wrong. The list of available games is of course always expanding. Here is a 'complete' list of available games Cloud gaming is definitely a big part of gaming future . No need for an expensive console or Graphics card just connect to the service and play and with GeforceNow appearing on Smart Tv's you dont even need a basic PC, just connect your choice of controller ,log in and enjoy. I am only mentioning GN as that is were my experience has been (other than my gaming PC and PS4 ) but as Muig states there are other services available and i am sure there is something to suit everyones gaming taste/wallet. :)

I love cloud gaming, but I have to point out that the statement that "you can use GeforceNow to play most if not all Steam titles" is far from accurate. The selection across all platforms is very limited- I used to be a subscriber. The only service that lets you play ANY game is France's Shadow: it costs more (£14.99 a month vs £5 for Geforce Now), but it's well worth it IMO. You get a very stable service and full control of a gaming PC. Unfortunately they've hit a big hurdle- they went bust! They have 2 prospective buyers and it'll be settled in court at the end of April. I'd love the service to remain unchanged, but we shall see...

£2.59 for. 20 games is pretty good even if the games are old and mostly shovel ware. Syberia isn't bad though but really most of these games should be converted for mobile use (just my opinion) With that said, haven't logged into my steam account for well over a year now because as mentioned above Epic offer some excellent titles for free or at heavily discounted prices and those coupled with GeforceNow have managed to occupy my time for well over a year. Playing the Division on my android tablet with a cheap data sim while I'm on dialysis is pretty cool. Steam need to modernise and allow their users to game on-the-go without the need to have your own PC turned on. Right now you can use GeforceNow to play most if not all Steam titles on multiple mobile devices or on your own pc/laptop with a crappy onboard graphics chip. Votes Hot on the deal. Syberia is worth £2.59 if you can get in to it.

Tbh you sound like a Epic games fanboy.

So angry. Give it 5 days, it'll pass.
