Aren't these much more expensive than buying the items individually?

A good bottle of quality whisky/wine/etc, for example, makes a great present, but I am less convinced about bog standard products in a special Christmas packaging. And yes, I am Mr Scrooge.

I don't think you can get those 4 bottle sets for £1 a bottle each. Miniatures are usually £3 plus glass / chocolates so some are better value than others. Just a nice gift idea but they don't have any gin though!
