I prefer official Nintendo stuff. But i guess its only a personal thing. If the price is crazy different then its something else. In this case its not.

Yeah if it was pads or something that makes a difference I always go for original. Chances are this is going to be behind your TV or something

Sorry if I sound dense but do you need something like this if you just have the base unit with the two include pads?
