Just picked up one of these as my old Dyson DC16 has just packed in.
Cheapest after this I could find it was £259.99 on Amazon.
Only available for click and collect as they’ve sold out for delivery.
I got mine from Wrexham branch and there were about ten there out on display they might have had more in the back.
Really impressed with it - got 3 motorised brush heads and a power boost button that gives it 100 air watts.
Hope this helps someone anyway.

Buy the new v10 cordless. Five bedroom house and stairs you can vacuum twice over on one charge at the lower setting and that's amazing. I've had one from launch.

That's a shame we have the Dyson V6 model purchase 3 years ago from Dyson via a deal here for around £130. Used daily - large house for kitchen and hard floor cleaning works perfectly and run time on charge is as good as when it was new. Is the charger faulty? The V10 is a big improvement over the early model in terms of run time, motor speed and ease of emptying (V7 onward had the easier to empty bins)

What happens if the refurbished Dyson's that some of you lot bought off of eBay break's down after just 1 Year?.

Who picks up the tab of the repair bill/replacement? (Dyson, or eBay ... )

When I bought my refurbished one from eBay (was actually brand new) I peeled that label off the 1year guarantee and registered the number that was underneath. Came up with 2 year guarantee instead of 1 - happy days

With the cordless type you tend to clean more often and spot clean. If you want to vacuum the whole house top to bottom then you might want to stick with the mains powered units. We have the mains units one on each floor of the house for the weekly clean. We use the cordless for spot cleaning, especially in high traffic areas (Kitchen, Hall)

The refurbs on ebay are often sold by Dyson directly, Dyson also sell end of line new items on their web site. In both cases you deal with Dyson CS. I had a Fan from them that literally went bang 13 months after purchase. Called them, replacement sent out next day, my old one was collected. Replacement unit was refurb (minor scratch) but it came with a 12m warantee. I'd recommend only purchasing from Dyson good CS and support. If something breaks they often just pop the parts in the post.

We have a Vax Blade 32v and get circa 20 mins out of it on turbo power, enough to complete our house without resorting to a corded cleaner at all. The Dyson V6's staying power is frankly pathetic, especially considering the premium that nice Sir James applies to his products. If you are spending Dyson money on a cordless cleaner surely it shouldn't be relegated to 'spot cleaning'? I do note Sir James has stated they are no longer developing corded cleaners so he seems to agree... (edited)

    I have the V6 (3 bedroom house).
I clean on a daily basis so that i don't have to do a big cleanup at the end of the week. You have to change the way you clean when you have one of these cordless ones. Just do a little bit every day. 20min is plenty to spot clean to pick up the daily dirt.

You won’t have to tax and MOT the Dyson though.... unless you pop some wheels and indicators on it... hmmm there’s an idea...

I ordered a refurbished V7 pro from the Dyson eBay store for £161 (with the recent 10% off code) and a shrink-wrapped, brand new one arrived this morning - including the 2yr warranty. Still only £179 on their store, so could be worth a punt if you want a bit more power and battery life! Doesn't have the extra bits this one does though.
