About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Looks like Amazon is getting into 4K content in a big way! Avengers in 4K and HDR is available at £17.99, which is a huge discount over the 4K Blu Ray on Amazon. I couldn't find this film in 4K on Apple or Google, so it looks like this is unique to Prime Video.
Great price for a epic superhero film!

sorted byI’d rather pay the extra and have the physical disc.
Better quality and actual resale value. (edited)
What's more impressive is that it is available BEFORE the DVD/ Blu Ray release on September 3rd for only a couple quid more than the 1080p version!
What am I missing? (edited)
If it's not too late, I've just purchased this and it's coming up on my TV as HDR...
I can't comment on the bitrate but I accidentally watched it all last night and thought it was excellent picture and audio quality. Only DD5.1 of course but I'll be able to compare the image once the UHD disc comes out.
Agree though this isn't a good example of their typical pricing. I bought the new Spiderman homecoming movie the day of release in UHD and it was a lot cheaper than this.
Its about time amazon had some good 4K deals, still not quite as good as the itunes deals around though
Does this mean you wont be commenting in the iTunes threads any more? Awww man, we are going to miss your cut and paste comments over there! Your trolling has earnt you celebrity status, you actually have a thread on reddit dedicated to you and someone has even created a meme!!!
Thanks, tempted by it ... but I have yet to be impressed by Amazon's stream bitrate
Thanks for the feedback bud
What you say makes no sense at all! Why would they provide a 4K version to some and not others? It could be that the film's HDR is processed in HDR10 or Dolby Vision and your hardware doesn't support one of them. But it is definitely is a 4K HDR movie and has been verified by several:
I had the same issue so logged onto Amazon via their website and found it there instead. This was after buying the HD version first but luckily Amazon lets you cancel your order if not watched
Pessimism. (edited)
No accounting for taste
Still can’t find it, wonder if it’s an error / area specific
Why would people mock someone trying to help others avoid being misled? Where is this 'reddit'?
The quality of your comments are very akin to Reddit. I am sure many of us have wondered whether you're a rampant troll or just plain stupid, it's a tough call.
I bought and mine was not HDR, tried on TV (Panasonic) Roku & uhd player. It may be HDR on some TVs, but not mine! Amazon did refund me (watched 2 mins so had to do via chat).
£18 for a non-HDR 4k is a waste of money imo.
Thanks, think I will wait for the disc
I'm pleased it worked for you - what equipment?
It still doesn't take away from the fact Amazon & Google 4k listings are terrible (click on the deal link - does it say HDR?). Finding 4k, then discovering whether it is HDR and if Dolby Vision / HDR10 is a minefield. As a zillion internet threads on Amazon / Roku / Panasonic problems will show you.
It failed for me on Roku & Panasonic as I clearly stated. My TV will do HDR10 but not DV.
