Great games, poor choices for Plus given how cheap they both frequently are.

I mean I'm overburdened with games from Plus I'll likely never get round to playing as it is so it's hard to muster up any real frustration over it but for newer subscribers this is a pretty low value selection.

What Remains of Edith Finch is an incredible thing, a brilliant example of the kind of story-telling that could only ever be done with the medium of games and it'll be a real treat for anyone who's never played it before.

Pants selection from both Xbox and Playstation this month in my opinion.

Overcooked is an amazing multiplayer game.

If some of you have friends you'll love it.

    Most of you won't...

I remember when these emails would say £65+ worth of games. What a joke PSN has become.

Yikes. Not looking good. I don’t play any games online now so prob best to cancel my PS Plus now. Pretty much all my friends have had Overcooked for years, it’s always on offer really cheap anyway. Edith Finch the same.

Overcooked was also free on Xbox not so long ago, which makes this awkward...

Not really understanding why they aren’t offering more VR titles, since lots of big and small titles keep getting released, and you’d think they would be pushing the marketing of the PSVR. Odd, and just ends up letting down VR Plus members.

Anyway, it’s the same old story now!

You would think that as we approach the end of this generation there would be plenty of rich pickings around for ps plus.

But the opposite seems to be happening. It has mainly become the home of fading multiplayer titles and assorted b-listers.

Granted Overcooked is a decent title but its been available for pocket money for months if not years. (edited)

If both games were on PS Store for £1.40 each how would the deal be voted …If both games were on PS Store for £1.40 each how would the deal be voted I wonder? If you shop about and get an annual sub for £33ish then that's what each game would cost (ignoring the free online storage, network access, free Now TV pass & other deals, etc. which you also get).I know it used to be better and cheaper but just look at what it currently costs and what you get - is that a deal? I'd say 'yes'.

That's not the point, they removed the PS3 and Vita games saying the PS4 games will get better... Which was an absolute load of bs. I hardly ever play online, I don't use the storage, 100gb is way too much anyway. The Network is terrible, and Now TV is the worst streaming service out there.

The worst month ever is confirmed. I expect them to get a lot of crap for this.

Just had the official email, a whopping £22 worth of games! Sure this used to be around £70 in the past. Crap PS, just crap!

Wow, might resub for this. Last months games were utter trash. Played both games on the PC back when they came out. Overcooked is the most fun co op/party game I've played in a long time, especially with 3 friends. What Remains of Edith Finch is an absolute masterpiece in storytelling and one of the most gripping and beautiful gaming experiences I've had over the past couple years, even though its quite short. Quality month!

Edith Finch is like a glorified Demo, its a very very short game. Games like Overcooked are just rubbish imo, they are the type of games you can get for free.

Really disappointing. I'll give them both a go but I'm not best pleased about this. Seems like Sony want me to buy an Xbox next gen.

Less than £1 a month increase for a third of the games?

How am I complaining for the sake of it.

Sounds like you had a bad day and need to wake up on the right side of the bed tomorrow.

Let’s be honest here, we’re all savvy consumers. Edith Finch has been £7.99 and Overcooked £3.29. So really that’s a whopping £11.28 worth of gaming. Ho. Ly. Fu.

And then look what Microsoft is doing with Game Pass. Absolutely freaking killing it.

Do you remember when they used to give away classics like Bloodborne, XCom 2, Metal Gear Solid, Just Cause 3, Yakuza Zero, God of War 3 remastered & great bonus games like Black Ops?...and now we're left with this rubbish...I think Sony are getting greedy...not that they weren't already...it's like how they keep pushing their PS Now service, they took away the backwards capability of the PS3 and didn't implement the feature into the PS4 just because they're greedy bar stewards.

I really did think the email I got sent from Sony earlier today announcing their line up was some sort of joke (edited)

It's just not an impressive PS Plus offering for the majority. Many will find it especially aggravating, seeing as this was an extra long month to wait for the announcement. My decision to not renew has been solidified by the last few months. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Tbh I personally don’t think the PS offerings have been strong for a long time. Over the year there has only been a handful of titles that I have actually downloaded to play.

Sadly, posts like these are always going to be based on the titles involved, obviously. Overcooked is a fantastic little co-op title and I'd urge anybody with a solid family (or friendship) that doesn't crumble under intense social activities to try it out. I've not played WRoEF as I'm not really into the walking simulator genre, so I can't really comment on that.

I think the major issue here is Sony and their current movement with PlayStation Plus, stripping the PS3 and VIta content from the service and filling their monthly offering with two games that can be picked up regularly in sales for a couple of coins is a bit of a slap in their subscribers face. I mean I'd have waited a little longer than two months before dropping the quality of titles.

But to answer your question (sorry, I rambled ) I don't think so, it's not that bad (but Game Pass is better )
