I'm on my way now to put a V6 Trigger behind a pallet of Coco Pops (edited)
Still want one myself at this price though (edited)
I’ll be in shortly to buy a pallet of coco pops
The management treat their staff very badly in the Alperton Wembley branch, I overheard the checkout manager saying that the checkout staff should be cleaning the toilets when a janitor is not available. Anyway long story short, I heard that dome disgruntled staff member laid a dog turd on top of the managers car and windscreen. Let him clean the toilet now haha
We all know, that if this had been posted by a non paid member of HUKD, this would have been, stuck in Misc till confirmed, edited to state very little stock throughout UK and expired by now. Your is left as something that comes across as a valid nationwide genuine promotion even though it is a very very limited stock clearance offer.
I don't need one, but feel sorry for the people that got duped into thinking this is a genuine nationwide Sainsbury's promotion from your insider information and got massively let down by your post. What about the 1000's of people who travelled needlessly based on your post, no apology for them. Just a self congratulatory GIF for the handful of confirmed purchases. HUKD need to look at how these insider deals are being posted and the general disinformation contained within them.
Personally I think HUKD have come out very bad in this I know sites have to change and adapt, but I think this site in my 10 years + here is taking backward steps not forwards lately.
They probably get 10% staff discount aswell
disgraceful, really is, you should have had it in misc, so few available and Sainsburys admit it, the site wasted peoples time when you sent them on a wild goose chase. Won't be the first time and won't be the last but saying a sale is a sale when its pure store specific clearing and you have rules for this, is simply wrong. Really poor show, mininum it should be expired but we cant even report it. If you think it shouldnt it just shows what is wrong with this site, if you think there will actually be any left in store now. (edited)
Seriously, you are a joke, you don't bother commenting at all after posting the deal, fail to mention theres about 10 countrywide, then come back to take the p out of people who have made journeys to find theres no stock? And you think thats acceptable for a member of staff? Really?
It's not a shame, all of us will probably do the same.
Give over, that is just a post to save face, I had no interest in this deal but it has been shambolic.
Why haven't you expired it? if a HUKD member had posted this and not a editor. This would be expired & greyed out by now????
Surely you should be upset at HUKD not Sainsbury's?
People that can be counted on your fingers.
People are taking issue with the absolute lack of any detail in the OP. Let's be honest, if it wasn't a HUKD member then it would've been moved to misc. Your source may be correct but didn't provide enough information for the OP to write a proper description. What came across as a Dyson nationwide clearance turned out to be a couple of stores discounting remaining stock.
This site really is being watered down.
Even with 19 pages of mostly complaints? Says everything really.
Ahh that’s okay, I’m not gonna use it in your house.
How can you say it was proven to be correct Sainsbury’s even said it was misunderstanding of an internal communication. People get sacked for these leaks just hope it was worth it to the staff member and the site.
hoping doesnt have two jobs one at Sainsbury’s as well or they might find they have only one job after tomorrow after this mess. (edited)
2000+ heat before the deal went live this morning based on the description posted. It's 1642 currently, That difference of -350 is the true reflection (probably even colder) of what of the majority members thought of this post overall once it became clear what the true nature of this actual deal was ...
What has this cost Sainsbury's in dissatisfied customers? They didn't officially inform you, of this offer, didn't advertise it in stores or nationally. Yet had hundreds of people queuing up for it this morning to be let down by the misleading post description on here, that made it into the national papers. Yet still Sainsburys had to make an apology from something that was not of their own doing. hmmmm. As well as the customers, got to feel a bit of sympathy for Sainsbury's for the problems you have caused them. (edited)
Correct 100%
But as it is an HUKD employee "Smyth " its OK .
Of course it should, at best have been in Misc as a "Heads up" till confirmed , But its HUKD so any publicity is lucrative publicity - A ruse cobbled together by Sainsburys and HUKD to get mugs into Sainsburys for their rubbish Toy Sale ? (Doubtless for a (not so small) fee ) .
I presume HUKD have accepted Smyth's resignation or was he "fed " this by HUKD knowing that the trusting sheep would vote it ridiculously hot when the actual deal and/or stock levels were unconfirmed .
Shameful on Smyth and HUKD . (edited)
I don't get what his problem is I've always refereed to using a Dyson or any other brand as using a hoover or hoovering. Same as my mother has always refereed to it as "im going to hoover the downstairs". Most people I know use the term hoover to describe vacuuming unless it's just a northern thing
Maybe if your member of staff actually replied to the comments from before it went live, then things could have been made clearer, but then, like I said, you wouldn't get the free publicity from the National press would you? Plus then he couldn't come back to take the p out of the members like he did. You say a good number of people found stock, is there about 700/800 comments, and what, 3 or 4 found stock? Not what I would call a good number. How is this different to yellow sticker deals (that aren't allowed) in half a dozen Tescos countrywide?
It’s ok I found both of them! I’ve cunningly disguised them as mannequins in the clothing department!
Really, here are the rules
Where doubts exist as to the likelihood the deal will be honoured or the availability would appear to be minimal
Cannot be ordered or pre-ordered at the current time.
So could this be ordered or pre-ordered when you posted it?
Dozens of members queried the availability of the deal, so clearly there were doubts about it, I posted yesterday saying stock was minimal, so you were fully aware of that.
