I bought one of these a few years ago on a similar offer (it was £8).

It had a puncture during first use. The kids still enjoyed it for a few hours, which was worth the £8. May have been a mis-use that led to the puncture but worth highlighting in case someone expects a life-time use from an under-£10 item

Correction: the one we bought was actually the bigger Intex Explorer Pro Inflatable Boat, and the price was £7.50. (edited)

For the love of God, anyone buying 1 of these or something similar, please, please, please only use it on a small stream on a very calm day.
The RNLI have far better things for doing than fishing you out of the sea on one of these things.

I love that there's two versions, this one and a larger one that's suitable for "One Person".40971570-DQEqN.jpg

Bought an inflatable canoe in lidl 5 years ago that's never been used. Bought life jackets for them 2 years ago, never used. Waterproof bag for phone and everything last year, never used.

    Still tempted.

Took one of these into the sea to try and get to the base of a cliff to climb. Made it about 6 meters and it burst. Luckily I could easily swim back. Don't go in the ocean with them.

They're not as bad as that I spent my 90's youth on a beach in boats like this. Good for messing around on the shore.

Sure, you'll be fine. Just make sure you pack some sandwiches for the journey.
